We chose @ 1926 because it looked very neat on the website. The price was also very acceptable. We were a bit early on the day of arrival, but Toni met us and let us check in 2 hours early. The unit is extremely neat and I believe one can comfortably stay here for long periods. Safety is a priority and @ 1926 makes sure you feel safe with all the necessary things in place. For an overnight stay in Piketberg I would highly recommend @ 1926!

Very relaxing atmosphere with a stunning view of the mountains in the morning.
The apartment is very neat and stylish, the location of 1926 is conveniently located - away from the busier business center, so even Saturday's activity did not dampen the peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped, which only further adds to the comfort. I was also pleasantly surprised when I got home on Saturday and realized someone had come to clean up while I was out - big treat! I hope I have reason to go home to 1926 again soon!
After a very long and exhausting work day, it was the ideal place to switch off and relax. Very neat and well maintained unit. "A home away from home.".

Access to DStv a nice perk. Silence a welcome character. Recommend that you emphasize for use of barbecue facility your own wood must be provided. Elvona was very approachable and responded immediately to requests and kept in touch until she was assured we were sorted.

It was wonderful to be able to arrive at the accommodation after the long journey. The hostess also arranged for dinner at a coffee shop, which stayed open especially for us. We could walk there and the food and hospitality was very special. Definitely going to visit @ 1926 again.
My son and I were on a road trip and enjoyed the place to stay, especially the sitting and barbecue area outside was fantastic.

Toni is a hostess a thousand. Friendly welcome and eye for finer detail is clearly visible when you step into the unit. Modern and extremely clean with treats, from bottled water, nuts, Darling's Tannie Evita fudge on pillows to ample coffee, tea, milk and biscuits. For those who would like to stay longer there is even a washing machine and dishwasher in the unit. We will definitely visit a lovely place with a barbecue on our next visit. 5 star accommodation!
@ 1926 is certainly one of the best places I've stayed! Everything is extremely neat, clean and very nicely finished. One does not really expect such a thing in the countryside. Toni (the hostess) is also excellent in her work. It's a courage!

Our stay was very pleasant and private, we had no disturbances or any noise. The unit layout is so modern and pretty, I can also say it was sparkling clean! Tania was also very warm and welcoming when we arrived. It was just unfortunate that we couldn't stay for longer, but we will be sure to book more nights next time.

It was amazing, very nice and tidy and Toni is wonderful and so friendly. I will always come and stay here as long as I have to work around there. It was absolutely value for money. A beautiful place.
We found @ 1926 incredibly tastefully designed and decorated with everything in place. The location is also very convenient. They set a perfect standard for accommodation right from the welcoming of the charming host to the linen, toiletries, rusks and almonds, etc. We will definitely go back there.
My husband and I and our young son spent our anniversary weekend celebrating in Piketberg. Our getaway was centred around the Piket-Bo-Berg MTB event which we thoroughly enjoyed. We arrived fairly late to a very warm welcome and found a bottle of bubbly and champagne glasses waiting for us. We had a wonderful stay in this stylish unit and I will most definitely recommend this accommodation to others.
I will certainly make use of your services again and make a recommendation.
