The sliding door to the bathroom slips out of its tracks and struggles to open and close. No shower door causes entire bathroom to get wet. Other than that, no problems!
We had a nice stay. Staff really went out of their way to make us feel at home. We didn't know we had to book secure parking. We were a bit worried about the car. Prospective guests should therefore note that they must reserve parking. The breakfast was excellent!
Routine maintenance needs to be kept up to date, as there were some annoying lapses like no shower door.

We stopped over here on our way from Cape Town to the Eastern Cape with our 3 teens and one younger child. The rooms were clean and modern and pleasant and it was great to have good aircon on a very hot day. When it wasn't loadshedding. We had 2 rooms that slept 3 each. Good, secure parking behind a locked gate and we had a very helpful, friendly welcome. There was however noise all night from water pumps going on and off, so those of us in the outside room slept pretty badly. The kitchenette was fine for tea and coffee, but not really suitable for making a meal.

Because it was quiet you instead 2 single rooms with a separate bathroom, we were given a room with a bathroom each for the same price. It is very wading because we are both in our 80s.
Place very clean and tidy, had a great sleep. Maybe just peek at hot water geyser, no hot water when we were there but that's just a minor quibble, would definitely stay there again.
A little bit of history with lovely antiques and crisp linen. Really enjoyed our stay.

@ Karoo Guesthouse is very neat and nicely furnished, and offers a delicious breakfast. We slept in Aloe. Jeanette is an asset to the business and made sure we felt at home, thank you! Even with the water problems, we would choose to spend the night again in Graaff-Reinet, at @ Karoo.
Our room was equipped with everything we needed but the bathroom was a bit far from the room. It didn't bother us terribly, but it would have been nice to have an en suite.
Staff were friendly and lovely at all times. They always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort while staying at the Karoo. Guesthouse was beautiful and quaint. My partner and I will definately rebook in the new year.
This was our stopover for one night. The guesthouse is in Graaff-Reinet and the customer service was excellent. We felt like every need was heard and taken care of. The rooms are very neat and comfortable. I would, however, not necessarily want to stay for longer than a night.

We were three people who spent one night in Garnaat Kamer. The room was big enough and the bathroom very large with a bath and a shower. The bathroom was not en suite as indicated on the sheet, but it was still a private bathroom just for our use. The guest house is ideally located and we had fast, friendly service. Everything was very clean and tidy. Our car was safely parked inside at no extra cost, which we only had to book in advance. Absolute value for money, and we would definitely recommend @ Karoo Guesthouse.

We were warmly welcomed and stayed at @ Karoo Guesthouse. The only thing I might complain about is that it is in a busy street and not so quiet. Other than that, we have no complaints.
We enjoyed our stay and the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. However, we did not know that secure parking is only available by reservation. The photos also show that there is a pool, but upon arrival we found that the pool was closed.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, unfortunately that was our only good experience. On arrival we wanted to know where we could park, we were then informed that one has to arrange in advance for safe parking otherwise one has to park in the street in front, but luckily the receptionist was able to help us with parking behind a locked gate. We didn't get the room we requested and my wife and I then had to sleep on separate single beds. The sheets were stained and the room was dirty, not swept or dusted regularly. There was also a motorcycle rally across the street, our room was facing the street and the motorcycles and their owners were making noise from the time we got there until we left. The room door handle was broken and looked very untidy and unsafe. The shower door was also broken and came off every time the shower door opened or closed. After a long drive it had not been a nice experience and we decided never to sleep over there again. There is a lot of potential and with a little attention I'm sure other people won't have the same bad experience.
