16 guests' feedbackGreat service with a nice view.
Houses clean, tidy and fully equipped. Gardens and vegetable garden were beautiful. Restaurant and bakery excellent service. Would 100% recommend 11 on Karkloof.
This cottage in not a modern place but provided with everything you need. The tranquility of the surroundings and farm activities make it special. Cute braai outside on the porch for those who love to braai and the nice fireplace inside for cooler evenings. I'm just sorry we couldn't make use of the bakery and coffee shop on site as they are only open on certain days.
Although the facilities were clean, the lounge furniture and bathrooms were very outdated.
Wonderful to wake to the sounds of nature and the sunrises are breathtaking.
Thanks for all the firewood for the delicious stuff! It drove away the winter cold. The shelves above the bed may be replaced with a headboard. We bumped our heads! The Spot's fire oven pizza is delicious. The restaurant and coffee shop on site is a bonus.
Good a accommodation for a quick stay over.
We had no WiFi for three days and there is poor cellphone signal. My enquiries on WhatsApp with regards to WiFi went unanswered which is not acceptable. There was no power for a day. I can appreciate there was a storm, but we were given a single candle and there was no proactive communication in this regard. There was no hand/body soap in Cottage 3. This is not acceptable. There was no coffee, tea, sugar or milk which really should be a bare minimum when paying R480 per person per night. I was concerned about safety as one window didn't close properly. I appreciated that the host allowed us to check in about an hour early. On the whole, I did not feel that I was a valued guest and didn't feel like there was any interest in whether we were safe or comfortable.
Accommodation very pleasant surprise. Front opens up to lovely view of the surroundings. Unit has lots of light. On-site restaurants and coffee shops a definite bonus.
We will visit again!
We really enjoyed our time at 11Karkloof. It's nice and quiet and our view was very beautiful. Nice farm feel. Will definitely stay at 11Karkloof again.
We were warmly welcomed and Thabo was very helpful. I talked to the hostess about what's bothering me.
We stayed in The Falls caters for large families. We were a family of 12 adults and 2 young children, celebrating my dad's 80th birthday. The house was large enough for us and the open plan kitchen and dining room and lounge was great for a family who enjoys cooking and preparing meals together. The kitchen facilities and equipment were sufficient and all in good condition. The view from the house is wonderful and we had many of our meals outdoor in front of the house. The staff were attentive and friendly. I will definitely return for another family getaway. Bonus was the lovely dairy farm and coffee shop next door.
The unit is neat, clean and spacious. Attention can be given to fine details such as a bath mat and hand soap in the bathroom.
Very nice stay, the fireplace is a winner!
