Elmien welcomed us kindly and the room is nicely furnished with the necessary for one night's stay. The room is tidy with the nicest bed. The room is also secure behind three gates with friendly dogs that act as extra security in the evening.
The host was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. She was always available and offered advice and tips on the area. The accommodation had everything we needed, and we felt safe and had a great deal of privacy. The scenery around the spot is also beautiful, with an open field opposite the house.
Very nice. Would love to have a TV set there.

The place was beautiful. The quiet of the area and mountain view was wonderful.
No way, photos are misleading. No toilet roll holder and shower impractical.
Unfortunately this is not a place I would recommend. It's a small flatlet in the back garden of the owner. The place just looks run down, and the owner's dog is left to roam around in the yard. The sound of barking dogs coming from every direction, so a good sleep is not going to happen. If you are in a situation and just need a place to lay your head, then it will do. I know how important an accurate description of accommodation is. The owner never even bothered to follow up after I left.
The accommodation and hospitality were excellent.
We enjoyed the tranquility. I will definitely recommend Protea 11 to my friends. But a TV would have been welcome for the rugby. And I thank the owner for the friendly welcome.

The ceiling of the room was covered with witches material, with brown water stains. The bathroom was also disappointing. There was a door with a security gate between the room and the main house, which could not be locked from our side. It made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. The wind was blowing terribly on Saturday night and there was a tree in the garden that was cutting its branches against the roof of the room all night. I know one cannot expect much for R800 per night, but there are a few things she will have to check. The photo on the web page and what is there are not the same. The area in front of the room doesn't look very good either. On the porch is also a kind of storage space with protruding boards. Really not a nice view and first impression. Sorry for her, but that's how we feel.

Elmien is a friendly hostess and let us booked in earlier to get ready for our function. Excellent bed and bedding especially as it was a cold night. Quiet and secure area and neighbourhood.
Elmien is very friendly and welcomes you with open arms. We were even provided with biscuits, coffee and tea. The bedroom is very neat and also behind 3 gates with friendly dogs that serve as extra guards in the evening. It's the perfect place to spend the night for one night at an affordable price.
Elmien is very friendly and accommodating! She brought in an extra bed especially for us so that our friend could also sleep there. The house is very neat. We had a very nice stay.
The place is very comfortable and tidy. However, it is only a place to sleep. In the future, Elmien only has to gather a dusting of ashes. The service from Elmien was very good and the dogs are also very friendly. Thanks for the visit.

I was happy with the place and everything.
The self-catering unit is large and homely furnished with lots of storage space. The environment is dead quiet, peaceful and safe. There is a large lawn where children can play. We even had a personal bodyguard, Ben the four-legged gentleman who looked after us all night and slept in front of our door. Thank you very much Elmien and Ben for a wonderful weekend. See you again soon!
I indicated to the renter that we are going to a 21st. There was no indication of a curfew or time we need to be at the residence. When my sister arrived at the residence she was shouted at by someone in the main house. The next morning whilst packing and putting our bags into the car the renter was rude and forced us to leave, whereas the previous day she told us we can leave at any time.
Bit of a backyard place to stay for any longer than one night. Would have appreciated any teabags, preferably with a choice. There was only instant coffee sachets. Otherwise everything was perfectly fine!

We went to a wedding in the area and it was very convenient to stay there. Basic but totally adequate, no TV or WiFi, so very relaxing.
