Best accommodation and the nicest owners. Can recommend the place with an open mind.
Host and hostess received us warmly, they also allowed us to check out later. Accommodation was great and everything is there for a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
Apartment was neat and very clean. All amenities were available. Really good value for money.
Quiet environment. Secure parking. Exquisite minimalism. Modern, spacious and lots of storage space in kitchen and rooms. Particularly clean and tidy with no load shedding and unlimited WiFi. Willem and Sonja are pleasant and engaging people and received us very kindly and informed us about the surroundings and places to eat. They always made sure we had everything we needed for a long stay (14 nights), but respected our privacy and didn't intrude unnecessarily at all. Very good quality mattresses, pillows and bed linen (and fresh, clean bed linen after a week's stay). Chocolate bars and tasty snacks were a pleasant surprise as well as toiletries in the bathroom and everything extra that is needed in the kitchen that we did not expect. Gas stove on which we made delicious food. Lovely spacious bathroom. Large walk-in shower (gas) that works! We really enjoyed our stay, and it was lovely to come back to a comfortable place to rest properly after each day's activities. Thank you Willem and Sonja, you deserve 5 X 5 stars!
Despite our changes in booking dates, Sonja still accommodated us and helped us at very short notice. The unit is spacious, clean and luxuriously equipped and we were warmly welcomed. Loadshedding also has no impact as the unit is equipped with an inverter and gas geyser. Our clumsiness with the microwave oven was also sorted out in no time by Willem (host). Truly a pleasure to be able to stay in the unit.
Everything you need, a barbecue, a parking space, a place to sleep, backup power, and a TV with Netflix (just bring your own password) for later in the evening.
Sonja and Willem are truly the best hosts and immediately made us feel at home. Their apartment is neatly and tastefully furnished and has really been a great pleasure for my two teenage sons. Comfortable beds were our preference and they exceeded our expectations. We will definitely see you again in the near future and the 4-legged family, Milo and Cindy were just so friendly and made us feel at home.
Our stay with 2 children, under the age of 15, was very nice and pleasant, at a very affordable rate for the 6 days we used the accommodation. The fact that through phase 6 load shedding, we still had hot water and even internet connection was a huge plus and made the stay a lot easier. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and made us feel like old friends, and spared no effort to facilitate our stay. They even suggested us some interesting places to visit. It is located in a quiet area, which we really appreciated after the day's busy schedule. We would recommend 111 on Heide with confidence, and would definitely use the accommodation again. With this we also want to pass on our thanks to the owners for the wonderful time with you.
We're only sorry that our stay was so short. Sonja and Willem have a gem here: It is a beautifully furnished and functional space, everything you could need and want. We hardly even noticed the loadshedding thanks to their gas appliances and inverter for the Wi-Fi. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. We'll be back.
