The pool was clean and had a safety net for the kids. All bedrooms are equipped with working air conditioners. The housekeeper was friendly and very helpful. She made sure we understood how everything works.
Louise and Meagan were very friendly and answered all my queries promptly. House is very clean and spacious.
This stay was the perfect location for safety and enjoying the North Coast. So close to shopping centre. Loved all the pools and easy beach access.

There were loads of fun activities, including the golf cart which we thoroughly enjoyed. The host, Louise, was very helpful and saw to our needs. Everything was in abundance. Will definitely recommend the place to others and will be booking again soon.
Zimbali has been a place I try to get to every year for years. The security measures at Zimbali increased so much on this last visit that it was really unpleasant. Tenants' access is so restricted that some of the great advantages of coming to Zimbali no longer exist. The major detours that have to be driven to the west gate, and beach gate access being taken away are deal breakers for me as far as Zimbali is concerned. It's a shame because I'd love to stay at 13 Yellow Wood again anytime as it's a fantastic place.

The house is not very well maintained and cleanliness can be improved. It is very good value for money though. The Zimbali management association rules are excessive and I am not likely to stay in the estate again with a large group. It is way too restrictive. Should update description, rooms do not have king-size beds as shown on their website.
Beautiful, calming, clean, I love the space and the fact that each room has its own bathroom. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable. I will definitely be back.

We were a family of 12 adults and the home was fantastic. All rooms were perfect, the house has absolutely everything one needs. The owners were extremely helpful and accomodating. We would love to return in the future.

Please improve on the access to the premises especially after traveling a long distance to get there. The owner of the house is the sweetest and available to assist, the house was big enough for all 14 of us and kids. I would recommend this place over and over minus the security.

Louise was a very good host, she responded quickly to all our requests. Checking in was smooth and she allowed us a late checkout as we were travelling back home with late flights. I recommend her services to everyone around me. We enjoyed each and every moment.
No problems at the house but the checking in, entering and exit process at the resort was very frustrating. This must change for a better experience.

The stay was wonderful, and the place beautiful, but far from the entertainment - like an hour's drive to uShaka Marine, the mall was close by though.
The helper was rude and didn't act like she wanted us there. Numerous times when we greet she will not respond at all. We had to use the same wet towels for 3 days because she didn't clean our rooms nor change the towels. The agent was cheeky, impatient and rude at times while we were trying to check-in. Honestly, their service was terrible. I loved the house design, the pool and all the bedrooms had balcony.

This large home can accommodate up to 12 guests and has a lovely entertainment area with a pool and sea views. There is a large interior entertainment area, and a covered patio with pool, and an additional patio at the back of the house. 6 bedrooms, all en suite, provide accommodation for a large group. This house is ideal for family groups, there is an upstairs lounge area and an additional downstairs TV lounge for the kids. The home owners were gracious hosts, and we can highly recommend a holiday at this home. We hope to be back.

Braai place was dirty and no clear instructions to use utensils. All adults must have ID, which is not required ahead of time and does not ring painful entry registration. One TV not working.
We had a disappointing stay. The house was full of cobwebs, there were dirty dishes packed away in the cupboards and 2 cracked glasses in the cupboard, there were no golf cart keys and no water downstairs in the 3 bedrooms. The photos are not a true reflection of the actual home. I think they were taken a while ago.
The owners house was nice, but when you check in they don’t come with a pre-checklist and they are not there to welcome you and give you the required safety checks.

We are a group of friends who visit Zimbali every year and it was our first time at 13 Yellow Wood and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house has everything you need and the fact that each room has its own bathroom was definitely a plus. We chose to use the gas stove and oven (we got the electric hob and oven downstairs) and especially appreciated each morning's beautiful sunrise and the beautiful sea view from the spacious balcony.

Our September visit was a joint birthday party (60 and 68 years) with family coming to Zimbali from South Africa, London and Australia. A great time was had by all and it was so refreshing not to be overtly concerned about safety and security during our stay. The accommodation was 'spot on' for our requirements and a specific and non-negotiable request for pool netting was addressed prior to our arrival ( a 3-year old being part of the gathering!).
A beautiful house suitable for big groups. The house is close to the hotel so we used the gholf cart (included) to go to the restaurants. Will definitely recommend. Everything was tidy and clean.

Nice house, nice view, just very disappointed in the Zimbali Resort (overdeveloped), plus no Wi-Fi and no hair dryers.
We had a wonderful time. The house still allows for a cozy time even if the weather doesn't cooperate. It is wonderful to be able to use all the Zimbali Resort facilities. The pool has a net - especially for those with small children. Watch out for the traffic officers! They catch all the Valies on their way out on a Sunday. Will definitely be back again!

We had a wonderful stay at 13 Yellow Wood. A short walk from the Fairmont Hotel's pools, restaurants and spa - or just take the golf cart. Each room has its own bathroom, and the house is cleaned daily by a diligent cleaner. There were water shortages, so two people cannot turn on taps in the house at the same time, but otherwise everything was fantastic.

Pleasant and comfortable accommodation.
We were a little disappointed, as the pictures did not show exact location in Zimbali Estate. Just a small detail, when on holiday, it is not always a good idea to have housekeeping arriving at 07:40 everyday and then leaving before lunch. We weren't able to lie in on holiday.
Very nice house, but the power cuts and water restrictions were not enjoyable and I got 2 traffic fines for going 35km in a 25km zone, very frustrating. If you like a very controlled environment then it's ok. The golf cart was great for the kids, if you don't play golf, there's really no point going to Zimbali.
Will definitely be back next year as it was one of the best places we have stayed as a tour group.
An excellent place, but if you plan to make too much noise, better choose another place. The neighbors are very close.
