A very neatly managed and well-located guest house for people possibly supporting family members at the Netcare hospital around the corner. Please take note that this accommodation is not well suited to the elderly or disabled (meaning there are stairs and paths with stones, and walkers/wheelchairs will not work). No air conditioning.
We had a wonderful stay, the weekend felt like a mini vacation at 14 Candlewood Guesthouse. Guesthouse is beautiful and clean and owners very friendly. Would definitely recommend this guest house!
We stayed with Francois for 1 night as we were moving into Woodlands Estate the following day. It was comfortable and cozy, and we would really recommend it as an accommodation option if you need to be in the Moreletapark area.
Our two week stay in 14 Candlewood Guesthouse over the Christmas period was unforgettable. The host was very welcoming and helpful, and we immediately felt at home. The unit was beautifully clean and tasteful, with thoughtful details such as milk in the fridge, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar. The complex is a beautiful, safe and peaceful haven, and the location was ideal for us; everything we wanted to do was within easy reach. Francois and Sophie were always very hospitable, friendly, available and interested. It was like staying with friends. Would not think twice to stay there again.
This little place was the ideal piece of heaven on earth where the angel of a woman named Sophie welcomed us and thought of everything possible to create an overnight unit in a house where one can feel at home. Every dear thing was in its place, and easily obtainable. I immediately felt at home and could easily relax and forget about everything. This overnight was like a vacation and a home away from home for me. I will definitely book the place again and recommend anyone to get away for a while at 14 Candlewood Guesthouse. Great!

This was our second time staying here and I would definitely recommend it. It is in a peaceful and safe environment. Everything is very neat and there is everything you need. The host and hostess are very friendly people and make you feel at ease.
We arrived after a whole day at the hospital, to the lovely calming sound of the waterfall in the pool. The unit was neat and had a wonderful ambience. Everyone was so friendly and we felt at home instantly.

5 minutes from Pretoria East Hospital you have a place on an estate which made our planning very easy. The host constantly ensured that we were comfortable.

A beautiful, well-equipped cottage located in a lovely secure estate just around the corner from the hospital (which is why we were in PTA) and a couple of malls, it was perfect for our purposes. Candlewood 14 is a 5-star overnight stop. This is in Woodlands Lifestyle Estate security complex. It is around the corner of Pretoria East Hospital and Woodlands shopping center and across Morletta Park NG Church. I can highly recommend the place and will certainly stay there again.

The unit testifies to the good taste of the owners, nice view of the garden and swimming pool. What was definitely not good is that we were without power the whole time and the owner gave us candles for light. One would have expected that any guest house in this price range would provide alternative lighting, such as gas lamps. Also, we would have appreciated a flask with hot water, to be able to make something to drink.
