Accommodation is clean and safe, and the host is friendly and accommodating.
The rooms were clean and very comfortable, central location near La Lucia Mall, and the staff were fantastic. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I recommend this guest house to anyone.

Although Durban is experiencing hard times, there was no personal customer service. Communication was via WhatsApp while there was a water crisis. Owner was out of town, no water for 3 days and no contribution to purchase water (had to be able to purchase 25L myself to obtain water from friends/family for toilet and washing). The unit needs maintenance (kitchen items are limited to absolute minimum, no wine glasses. Microwave faulty); and no cleaning services for the 4 days. No direct DSTV availability, only possible if a subscriber is with DSTV or Netflix.
Hospitable and the accommodation is tidy. Very centrally located.

Very close to Umhlanga but not that expensive. The full DStv is very nice for days when it rains. Just missed the braai area and swimming pool.

Oh my goodness gracious! I'm speechless. I've travelled most parts of the world, but I've never seen such kindness, care and professionalism. My bed was a very comfortable king-size bed. In the shower, the water pressure was amazing, the staff treated me like a queen. The apartment is just 2 minutes away from La Lucia Mall. I even walked to the Mall. I've told all my friends about 14 on Braemar. The apartment was too beautiful. Words cannot express how happy I am with the establishment. Barbara, you are one in a million. There are very few people like you.
