Great getaway. Was just too short. Everything you can think of is there for your use. From beach umbrellas and surfboards to a nice board game. Only the road works were very bad.
We enjoyed our break; it felt almost like home away from home. We felt safe and could enjoy the peace and serenity of the place. It's well-kept and beautiful. I would recommend it to everyone, and I have done so knowing they will love it too!
The apartment is well equipped. Owner is friendly and helpful. Place is very well located with a lot to do in the area. The complex has a gate that leads directly onto the beach, a beautiful quieter section with very beautiful rocks, but also very close to sections where the children could swim.

Can you just buy broom and a mop please, the ones there are not making it easier to clean the place. Also share your loadshedding schedule with your tenants so as to be able to plan accordingly.
Beautiful place, right on the beach and not far from the shopping malls. The water cut off on our last night which was a bit of a shlep but we still enjoyed our stay never the less. Will remember to bring a DStv decoder rather than an explorer next time. We will definitely be coming back.
We were there for 14 days and felt like home, everything is very neat and clean with workers who keep the place in tip-top condition every day, The stoep doesn't have a roof, we took a gazibo with us for own convenience. There is practically no internet reception, it was quite a problem, so take DStv. There is everything you need in the apartment. Water quality on the South Coast is a problem so be prepared to use bottled water for drinking purposes.

Our visit at 15 Shelly Strand was very nice. I would recommend it to someone who wants to be right by the sea, just a few meters and you are on the beach. I would just like to mention that the fridge is a bit small if you want to avoid the shops, but the shop is walking distance.
Lovely place, right by the ocean and nice owner and neighbors in the complex were lovely.
The place is very cute and comfortable. The basic things like the floor etc. was clean If they could just wash the doors and walls too, that would be great. It was really a pleasure to stay there.
Booking was simple, the venue was lovely and clean and also very safe for the little kids.
Everything was perfect except for the trees obstructing the sea view. Owner very nice, always helpful and the accommodation is perfect.
Parking space in the garage is very small. Newer vans are too long and don't fit. Nice by the sea for a walk on the beach. Not suitable for mountain bikes, the roads are too busy.

We have stayed in other units in the same complex, and can easily say we enjoyed the location, convenience and ventilation of unit 15. Washing machine, dryer and outside shower. Brilliant! Only recommendations would be an update of the dining/living room furniture plus changing the orientation of the furniture and TV location. On rainy days when we were stuck inside (with kids), we couldn't have some person watching TV while others used the table for puzzles etc. and the sofas were not very comfortable. Otherwise, would not mind returning in future.

We enjoyed ourselves. It's a very safe place. Every night there is a guard patrolling right through. We saw the beach through the gate from our porch. Literally a stone's throw then you're in the water. Uncle Kas made sure that everything was good right throughout our visit. Thank you very, very much. You will definitely see us again.

As a family with two small children it is difficult to relax without having to keep an eye on the children all the time but at 15 Shelly Strand it is so easy! The unit is perfectly furnished and has a lovely patio with braai facilities. The veranda opens onto a beautiful green lawn and trees under which the children could play wonderfully while mum could watch them from the veranda. The beach is just 50 m from the apartment which means that we didn't have to pick up a package at all. The unit even provides a beach umbrella and balls and fishing nets for the little ones that my kids enjoyed immensely. The apartment was spacious enough so that the 4 adults and two children were never under each other's feet. My two-year-old walked up and down the stairs with ease. There is also a security guard patrolling in the evenings, so definitely a very safe and peaceful atmosphere. We can't wait to visit 15 Shelly Beach again!

I simply love the place, beautiful, clean and well maintained. If you looking at a great accommodation I highly recommend this one.
The flat is basic which is all you need. The steps however are very small at the top which makes it difficult to step down. The surroundings are beautiful and everything is maintained very well. It is clean, but the kitchen and outside drain pipe was blocked. We felt very safe and the access to the beach is so convenient. It is located very central to all the major attractions and shopping centres. A place I will really visit again.
Would recommend this place to everyone who is going on holiday. It's really beautiful, close to the beach and friendly staff. Everything is great.
We were very happy with our experience, there was everything we could ask for, it was comfortable and safe. The location is perfect especially with small children if you don't feel like packing a suitcase every time to go to the beach and nice and close to the shops. The owner was more than helpful and friendly and we will never go anywhere else again, it is definitely our annual holiday stay.

No hot water on arrival "Geyser" turned on. No toilet paper - inconvenient for late arrivals. Door locks could do with lubricant. Breakage deposit still outstanding.
