Whilst the accommodation was clean, quaint and located close to the beach, the accommodation was not suitable for more than two adults. This is as a result of only one bathroom. The shower urgently needs repairs as the water leaks from under the shower tray, running into the living area. I would recommend that the description be updated on the site to clearly indicate that there is one shared bathroom and ideal for a family but not for adult travellers if not family. We had 5 adults in our group.

"Nice but disappointing host."

The place is nicely decorated to have a good time. There is DStv, a fridge and a microwave. Our TV was also replaced during our stay, thank you for that. We just didn't have Wifi at any point. During load shedding there is also no alternative power. There is a gas stove that helps. Our power was also down at times due to reasons other than load shedding. We were also woken up one morning fighting by the hosts. It was very unpleasant. We didn't have power for a few days and had to throw away a lot of our food. One night there was no load shedding and we were still without power because we couldn't get hold of the owners and our unit's power box was hidden behind a painting. When we complained that our power was out while the main house lights were on we were told that we could leave the unit at half past 11 in the evening. We then stayed the night but drove the next morning. So we cut our holiday short due to poor hospitality. I have traveled a lot and booked places through websites but this was really the worst experience in terms of hospitality and WiFi that was advertised but not there. It was really disappointing.

A friend and I needed a beach break with our doggies after enduring a trauma. We loved the cosy cottage with easy access to a stunning stretch of beach. Our dogs were safe and secure when we ventured out without them. Wonderful holiday.

Very neat little place with very nice equipment. Easy access to Scottburgh shopping and beach. Bed was very comfortable and very nice peaceful surroundings.

Rae made us feel right at home. The cottage is spacious and everything you need is in there. The accommodation is clean and tidy and can recommend it.

The most important things are in place. Quiet environment and quiet at night. The aircon helped a lot in the room where my son slept and in kitchen and living area, as there were no windows and the wall was heated in the daytime because of the sun. We were three people, but unfortunately only 2 chairs were provided at the table. Comfortable garden chairs would also have been welcome at the braai area and another extra frying pan and larger pot for cooking. Otherwise, the friendly atmosphere makes up for the shortages. It was pleasant for a weekend getaway.

The accommodation was clean and tidy, but we had no reception on the mobile phones. A bit far from main beach, and no attractions to visit in Scottsburg if it rains, or if you don't want to go to the beach that day. Would recommend but don't think I'll be visiting Scottsbrurgh again.

The accommodation is beautiful. Rae is very hospitable and showed us where everything was and was available at all times. We stayed there because it's pet friendly. She made our furry child feel very welcome. There is a beautiful garden area where one can braai and socialise. A lot of attention was paid to the details.

"This place is not safe for pets as the owner uses poison inside the flat."

Please do not take your beloved pets to this establishment. The owner had put rat poison behind the fridge, which was easily accessible to our dogs. She knew about the dogs before we booked and was introduced to them on arrival. She only told us of the poison after we had left, after spending 2 days in the flat. No creature deserves to suffer as our little girl has. Please be aware that the symptoms of poisoning can take time to show and you need to act very promptly if there is to be any hope of recovery. Please note that I have given it a one star rating as it would not save the review without and doesn't allow for a minus rating.

Mon repos@15onRaymond is a little gem. Ideal for a couple because usually you have to book a 4-6 persons unit just for 2. I will definitely recommend this to others, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming, feels as though your visiting family.
