With a family of young boys, there was lots of space for everybody to be relaxed. Nice and clean. The indoor fireplace was a perfect touch for the cold weekend we had. The host was so helpful, could message her at any time! Will definitely come again.

The house is spacious and has a fully stocked kitchen of crockery, serve ware, etc. Everything was clean and bed linen and towels were of good quality. We had everything we needed for the perfect weekend away with family.

The house is equipped with all crockery, cutlery and utensils necessary. The first overall impression was neat and tidy. But the kitchen sink area was in a horrible unhygienic state: the tap was broken and just about out of its fitting and dripped continuously, wasting a huge amount of water. The wooden cupboard it is built into is rotting away and moldy due to this. For a kitchen area, from a hygiene point of view, this is not acceptable. Though all the appliances are present and available for use, the door of the tumble dryer, for instance, was not in working order. There was a large dead cockroach in the shower and the shower was missing a shower head. In terms of entertainment, the house is well equipped with ample space for inside and outside meals. Part of the decor was a very old fish hook (next to the fireplace) that got caught in one of the kids' hands (She stumbled and used the wall to balance) and we needed to visit ER in Bredasdorp as we could not get it out. The house is also not well equipped for loadshedding. Overall the experience was met with mixed feelings: these facts prove it to not be value for money. The location of the house is great, close to the beach and the hotel. Sufficient parking area for 3 vehicles. The wifi worked well.
I went with my family and my sister's family. The house is perfect for two families to stay in and be together, as well as have your own space. The owner is very helpful and always available at a drop of a hat and the ambiance is totally peaceful and relaxing. The house is also a short walk from the beach and the deck of the hotel for a few sundowner. Thank you for a great stay.

16 On Main is a delightful guest house. The fireplace inside was especially nice in the cold weather. It would have been nice to have an indoor grill as well, but the kitchen is so well appointed that it suffices as a Plan B. We didn't always feel too safe with people knocking on the door to sell things. Even if the gate was closed, they knocked on the windows. Otherwise the house is perfect - clean, tidy, modern and lovely bedding with even beach towels.
The large spaces of the house are pleasant. Lovely quiet environment. Felt safe.

The beds and pillows are so comfortable, sleeps better than my own bed. Duvet covers and blankets are very snug. Lovely spacious house.

This place is perfect for large groups, it is very well stocked, beautifully finished and super comfortable beds. great privacy and it had an amazing surprise with a fire place in the lounge, everyone loved that, in the cold weather we had. Our host was very accommodating.
Arniston is 'n heerlike wegbreekplek en baie rustig. 16 on Main het aan alle verwagtinge voldoen. Vir 'n groot familie of vriende is dit die ideale plek. As ek een ding kan vra wat hulle kan verbeter dan sal dit die wasbakkies in die badkamers wees. Is regtig 'n bietjie te klein maar ons het 'n wonderlike tyd gehad. Voel sommer nou weer 'n nuwe mens.

We enjoyed our stay. One of the toddler's toys went under the bed and when we took is out there was heaps of dust. Please just clean under the beds as well. Other than that, it was perfect.

We were four girlfriends that stayed there from Monday to Friday. We felt very safe with the alarm and cameras that ensures you don't feel uncomfortable for even a moment. It was wonderfully quiet and yet we had every kind of comfort that you could think of. It really feels like home from home. It is important to know that the nearest shops are in Bredasdorp - so make sure you have everything. The house is excdeptionally well equipped. There is even a small fridge for drinks. Do yourself a favor and plan to eat at least one dinner at the hotel. Delicious food and a winning view!

Spacious house, value for money. You can see that it has the potential to be a great holiday house, even thought we used the accommodation for business.
Facilities in the house was very comfortable and everything is there, even an axe to chop wood. The house is very nice with braai facilities outside with a table and chairs as well as sun loungers. We could eat peacefully and just be cosy in the relaxing atmosphere of Arniston.
Except that the area is a bit unsafe (as posters on the walls warn), there are more than enough security measures. The cleaner was very pleasant. The space was perfect for our group and it was cozy in the cold. |We really enjoyed it and my family only have good things to say about the accommodation.

I have visit a couple of houses in Arniston over the years, but this is really a nice place. It is very clean, have a lot of space for big family's and a nice outside braai area. The cleaning lady Carolyne is a very friendly lady and know how to keep a house clean. The fire place is very nice for the winter nights. I will definitely recommend this place to other people.
