The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an air-conditioned open-plan kitchen and living area.
The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a wonderful, modern spa bath, toilet and washbasin. There is also an air-conditioning unit in this bedroom.
The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, with a designated bathroom across the hall fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Both bedrooms have sliding doors that open onto the private patio.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a gas hob and electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher, a toaster, tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as a breakfast bar with stools.
Warm blankets and hot water bottles are provided. The lounge contains a TV, fast fibre Wi-Fi internet access, and opens onto the private patio with outdoor dining furniture and braai facilities. There is secure, off-street parking available for 2 cars.
17 Marine is located a brief 5-minute walk into the town centre where guests will find various shops, restaurants, and attractions such as the Old Harbour Museum and Gearing’s Point for whale watching in season.
Please note this apartment does not have sea views.
An inverter and battery system have been installed, providing backup power to various appliances and lights. The inverter system supplies backup power to the lights, TV, Wi-Fi, fridge, USB charging ports, kettle, microwave and most of the electrical plugs. The air-conditioning, dishwasher, geyser and spa bath cannot be used on the inverter system. The electric hob has also just been replaced with a gas hob for cooking.

The place is well located.
Beautiful modern apartment in a good central location in Hermanus.
It's been a great week. Beautiful apartment, nice gardens, braai area, well located near coastal path and Fick's Pool.
Definitely a place I will visit again. I can't think of any cons.
The venue was great, just the leaking roof and black mold above the TV were a problem, causing poor indoor air quality. The roof must also be leaking since the roof also leaks in 2 places beneath the outdoor area. The bed was the hardest and worst I have ever slept on, similar to sleeping on the floor. The outdoor entertainment area was great though.
For top price I expected a bit more braai wood? The fact that we had to struggle like this with the damage deposit was not in order. Everything just happened at the last minute. Dishwasher and coffee pods. The toilet door needs fixing? Furthermore, we had a nice and comfortable stay.
We had a great time in the new apartment with a lovely view.

House rules
Servicing is not included in the rates but can be arranged at an additional cost.Construction will be taking place on the building next door from Sep 2023 for 6 months. Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays until 1 pm. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
