It is a whole house with two rooms, living room, bathroom with a lovely shower and full kitchen. The host was also very friendly and very helpful, which we really appreciated. The area is safe and close to all amenities. We were very happy and felt very comfortable.

Elma was helpful and friendly, and the house was spotless. The beds are super comfy! The place is opposite a busy pub (we were aware of this beforehand) and it can be noisy during the evening. There is a beautiful kitchen and outside braai area that, although we didn't use, can imagine would be wonderful for a comfy weekend braai. Overall, a very comfortable stay and would recommend for anyone looking for an affordable stay in Robertson.
Cool place!
Although the house is located on a particularly busy street, we still had a great stay. The taxi rank next to the house and many feet in the street make you more aware of safety and ensure that you are out of the springs early. At least the bar across the road wasn't too busy and the braai place provides a cozy atmosphere.
We enjoyed our stay at 18 on Adderley. It was a very comfortable stay and felt like home.
We were a vibrant bunch, so the pub across the street was not a disturbance at all. It was within walking distance of fine dining and the usual takeout and franchised eateries. It was a really quaint, but lovely space, with spacious rooms. Absolutely loved the braai area and backyard. Although we didn't need or use it, the fully fitted laundry room was a nice addition. Check-in and check-out was hassle-free. Would definitely stay there again and recommend. Thank you for another good stay.

Thank you Elma for your beautiful home and your amazing hospitality. The house is situated in the heart of Robertson town. The house is fully equipped for hot summer days and cold winter nights. I enjoyed my stay so much and will definitely be visiting again.
Definitely value for money. Would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend the place.
Elma welcomed us very kindly and explained everything to us nicely. However, we only slept there for 2 nights of which we were out all day on Saturday and drove very early on Sunday morning. Lovely hot water which made the shower lovely. Beautiful linen and towels. Extra light when the power goes out, which helped a lot. However, there is no DStv, we could only get Showmax to work - this information is only for guests who watch a lot of television. However, I have a few suggestions for them to look into: 1. Bench in the bathroom to put your things on. 2. Extra hooks to hang clothes and/or towels. 3. Dressing table in the master bedroom. 4. Trash in the master bedroom. 5. 100% blockout curtains for the porch light that burns all night. Furthermore, we found everything we needed for our short visit.

The home is really well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the day beds in the lounge were wonderful. There is a bar across the road but the noise did not bother us at all. The dorp has lovely shops and restaurants and we will definitely be back.

The road is very noisy and next to the house there are taxis parked which is a pick up point for people. There is a bar opposite the house and most of the cars parks in front of the house.
Elma is very friendly. Had to turn around for one of our friends' charger and Elma was kind enough to let us go back in to get it once we had finished lunch. Will definitely go again.
Problems encountered by the two owners of the business where I worked were as follows: Only one bed was made - the other had to sleep under a blanket. They were there for an EnduroRace - only to be told later about the bar across the street making a lot of noise and keeping them awake. Also later it was first mentioned that a van could not fit in the parking area - a different plan regarding transport had to be made. I realize that this year has been and is difficult for guesthouses, but honesty remains of the utmost importance.

Friendly owner, spacious accommodation, child friendly, I got the much needed peace I needed from daily city life. Host thought of almost everything. Just struggled to find a knife suitable to cut watermelon and sweetmelon, but all in all I think a 9.5 out of 10 is in order. Would recommend this house to anybody.
Beautiful house. Very nice garden. There were toys set out for our son which he really enjoyed. Very central and close to everything. Unfortunately very noisy in the early morning as well as in the evening. Bar opposite the house. Taxis park next to the house. A few times we were parked in front of the gate. Taxis ignore 'NO PARKING' signs. Last day truck before parking had to try to locate driver to leave. Would have preferred to have known about the taxis that stop between the Fish Shop and the house to pick people up and drop them off.
We had a lovely stay in a well equipped house with more than enough safety features. We confidently recommend this cottage! You get more than face value.
We enjoyed our stay. The place is neat and tidy. The location is quite noisy and busy. Only thing missing is an indoor fireplace or heater for the cold nights.

Good value for money, however it is on the edge of the industrial area. A 6 minute walk to main street. Wifi unavailable for the duration of the weekend as the owners were away. Buzbar next door did not cause any problems or noise. Overall it was appropriate for a small group who did not require a fancy place to stay. The cottage is very basic on the inside. The pictures are slightly misleading as the place is old/old fashioned. For the price it is sold at the facilities etc are appropriate. There is no desk/area for business travellers.
We stayed at 18 on Adderley with our small children. The cottage is very comfortable and tidy, but it is located next to a cafe and minibus taxi/bus parking, and it's also opposite a bar. Friday evening and Saturday throughout the day it was therefore very noisy around our house so that our children struggled to sleep. On Friday night, people who were at the bar were also making a lot of noise and driving their cars up and down the street. If I knew more about the area I would have considered ten to one other place to stay. This is unfortunate, because the house is otherwise very nice, and the hostess very friendly and helpful.
