My stay at 18 on Douglas was very peaceful in a very nice and safe environment. Mr Pienaar was very professional and helpful and easy to reach. The accommodation is very nice, extremely neat and clean. Everything was provided and the price is very reasonable for the facilities on offer. A big thank you to 18 on Douglas' owner.

My family and I enjoyed the weekend, but please can there be less load shedding. Even though I know that's out of your control.
It would be nice to have outdoor seating close to the unit. There is a braai area with seating up a slope and some stairs. But for old folks not so good to carry food and drinks to the braai. A minor issue as Dion, the host, was very friendly and always available to help.

The lower flat was washed away from the previous rain and was under construction to fix. Dion offered us the top flat, very friendly on arrival and very professional.
The neat, evergreen garden already creates a sense of tranquility when you drive in. The furniture is very carefully selected and very comfortable. The beds sleep wonderfully. We were contacted by Dion ahead of time and received very kindly. The accommodation was equipped with everything we needed.
The apartment was clean and very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the braai area is a lovely place to just relax.
Would stay there again anytime.
Thank you Dion and Pieter! At ‘18 on Douglas’, I stayed in a 3 bedroom flat upstairs. Although alone, I was still stunned at how spacious, clean and tidy the flat was. It was also fully equipped for the self-catering traveler. What a pleasure to come ‘home’ to pure comfort and such a peaceful setting after a long day of viewing houses. Dion and Pieter are awesome hosts and the two small problems I encountered in the flat (not worth naming), were rectified almost immediately. I would gladly recommend ‘18 on Douglas’ to anyone looking for self-catering accommodation in Pennington, whether on your own for business, or a family on holiday.
I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely book there again.

We stayed in the 4 bedroom unit on the ground floor. Very cute and practical unit that has everything. Dion was very helpful with everything.
Sadly it was raining throughout our 4 night stay in Pennington, however, given that we were largely housebound, we were very happy with our accommodation. It was spacious and clean, well laid out and pleasantly furnished. The only improvement I would suggest is to have sheets on the beds as well as duvets and the duvets are too hot.

It was such a great stay, honestly! Dion was very informative and helpful and super friendly, he gave recommendations for activities and restaurants in and around Pennington. The accommodation itself was lovely, very comfortable beds and pillows, fully equipped kitchen. We will definitely recommend staying at 18 on Douglas, if we ever travel to Pennington again, we will definitely want to stay with them again.

Pleasantly surprised, very neat, everything was very good except that the people in the apartment above ours made noise outside our window at 5:30 and even had an argument which woke us up, but I didn't complain at all. Then my wife and I and our two boys who are students where chastised one night when we were laughing and playing games one night - by the very same tenants. It was unpleasant, but it had nothing to do with the landlords.
We were received very kindly and after a quick tour we soon felt at home. The decor is very nice and everything needed was there, even emergency lights in the living room and bathroom. The shower is nice and spacious!
We had a lovely experience and will definitely go back in the future.

Relaxed holiday atmosphere. Recommended is a broom and shovel for each unit. The sliding glass door cannot close. Otherwise had a wonderful holiday.

Very pleasant stay. Als was 100% to our liking. The only negative comment (and now I have to look far) is that there is no swimming pool, and the braai is a communal braai (but it was always clean and grills tidy).
Everything was good, the shower's water pressure was a bit weak. Furthermore, the place is clean and tidy, it would be good if they could purchase a microwave. The people are also very friendly.
