From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had known the owners for years. They are so hospitable and friendly and will go out of their way to make it comfortable for you. Everything was perfect, the location, view, rooms and service. Cindy went out of her way to make everything perfect.
We were warmly received. Most beautiful view I have seen in a long time, picture perfect! On Thursday morning we were surprised with a snack box for the long way back, and also a special greeting. His owner also WhatsApped every now and then to find out if we were safe, out of 10 we give them a 15.
We had a very nice time. Cindy and her husband carried us on their hands and spoiled us terribly. We spent 4 days there with our kids and would go back any day. The guest house is clean and tidy, had everything we needed. 5 out of 5.
When iIarrived it was superb service from the hosts. On arrival I was given some orange juice and showed around in the cottage and I was asked to shout if I needed anything. I stayed in the appartment and it was clean and fresh. I had a nice deck and a portable braai and the wind in Gordons Bay played with, during sunset sitting on the deck fire burning and having an ice cold beer outstanding. Next morning I was woken with a nice simple snack orange juice and croissant with cheese. That was unexpected and really nice to receive as I was kind of hungry. Thank you so much you two, it was enjoyable and I would for sure be back when the opportunity arises.

It was as if the place and owners were hand-picked: Just what we needed for a few days away from Gauteng and in a beautiful environment and guest house that is a dream home. Nice and helpful owners; beautiful spacious rooms with all the necessary facilities and space as well as a beautiful view. Clean and tastefully furnished - balcony and sitting area included! Vacation and luxury! (That's why it's better than "house"!) We made our home on the second floor and it was just one set of stairs down to a lovely, spacious open-plan room: living room, dining room and kitchen as well as a porch with outside seating area - beautifully furnished and lovely sea -view over Gordans Bay. Large windows and therefore plenty of light and lovely space as well as a beautiful view together with every morning's delicious breakfast, coffee and fruit juices (variety, beautifully presented and good quality - more than enough!) We really didn't need anything more than that and would be happy to go back Furthermore, we walked and eateries. as well as the sea, was close enough for just a nice walk and some exercise so the bump out back to the guest house.
Cindy and her husband received us very kindly and made us feel at home. The room was very comfortable with a nice view, the bathroom was also clean and modern and nice and big. Very conveniently located if you want to be on the Gordens Bay side of the Cape. Will support them again.

The road in front of the guest house is quite busy, so it is quite noisy if you sit outside on the balcony and sleep in the evening. There are also refreshments already stored in the small fridge that is in the room, it doesn't leave much room to pack your own things in it. Breakfast was very nice and the drivers are very friendly.
Beautiful sunsets over Gordon's Bay and in general a great sea view. Since the guest house is on the main road, it is noisy with the regular traffic flow at times.
The staff at 18 on Kloof are extremely helpful and very friendly. I will recommend this to any of my friends.
