We arrived at the motor gate and our first smiles were from the personal welcome sign with my name on it. As we parked, we were greeted by the very friendly owner, Marius, who personally showed us around and made us feel so comfortable. Then we started noticing all the beautiful small things like beautifully styled towels with chocolates on all the beds, Oreo cookies on the coffee/tea station, and even freshly cut flowers from their garden. This beautiful home is modern and comfortable and we couldn't have asked for a better host. Marius even sent us the specials at the local restaurants without us asking. If you ask nicely, you might even be able to pay Marius for a sunset cruise on his immaculate boat.
We were looking for a place to rest and 18 On Thesen made that possible.
Quick and friendly service made us feel at home at short notice and at awkward hours and comfortably rest after a tiring journey. The large tub is a winner!
He made us so much at home - even though we were there for just one night - that we want to come back for a longer stay.
It was very nice to be able to sleep there. The owner of the place was very helpful and very friendly. Well done to your beautiful place, would recommend anyone to visit there.
The welcome made us feel warm and at home. Place is very tidy, just needs an iron. It was New Year's and wanted to throw something over the coals and invited another couple who is also on holiday in Knysna over for a braai. However, we asked and there was not really an answer given and were later informed by Whatsapp message that we are not allowed. In fact it put a damper on our holiday and also our time there. So we just slept there and on check out moved into another place where space was open. 18 On Thesen is very nice and looks like a nice place, but if I can't barbecue with friends then a place is not worth it for me.
Accommodation was neat, clean, and central, with Marius being a most helpful and hospitable host. Well recommended, excellent value-for-money stay.
