Not at all, the place has gone downhill, the rooms have been redone very poorly. Staff walk around barefoot and rooms lacked towels and hangers. The place used to be a very nice place to stay. Now it's a low-cost institution with no soul.
It's like staying in a Formula 1 hotel. No teaspoons, no water to drink or for the kettle, no hand soap. The flowers in the vase water were dirty. There was no extra blanket as it was cold, no parking on the premises - had to park in the street. There was no chair to even sit on the balcony, and bird droppings were all over the floor on the balcony. The tiles around the basin in the bathroom were loose.
This is an excellent property, but badly neglected because the owner is only out to make money. Security gate at the entrance is out of order, electric cables hanging from the ceiling in the corridors, security gate can only be opened and closed from the outside. Doors and walls have scratches, tiles are cracked, palisade on balcony is loose. Locker lock in bathroom does not work, shower is clogged, towels are thin and rock hard, there are no face towels. There is no hand detergent at the sink. Two-prong plugs were not with bedside lamps, so I had to go and ask for one. TV doesn't work! It's just a few things because the owners put a poor Malawian there to "run" the place. Look in your register, there are foreigners who come to stay with you and it is a glaring shame that you let the eighth house be so neglected!
No, it was not value for money. No parking on premises. Must park on street side. No communal kitchen. Place is not built practically. Room does not have hanging space for clothes. Refrigerator on floor difficult to handle.
