10 guests' feedbackThe children were comfortable. We had a nice stay.
No braai facilities at the unit or in the complex. Not enough parking, so if you are not back early enough there is no room for your car and you have to park on the street. Did get good service from Umhlanga Accommodation after we asked for plasticware for the small children, of which there was none and cleaning services were decent. Note, the place is smaller than expected and the toilet is inside the shower in the photos.
On 3 occasions I had to park in the street and walk to the unit, family in tow, leaving vehicle as a worry not needed. Certain units had up to 3 parking spots filled by visiting friends. No proper access control in place. The safe in the unit did not inspire peace of mind as it was loose and damaged from previous forced access.
Everything was 100%, no problems.
I was very unhappy about the R2000 key deposit, which in my opinion is very high. I also did not get the full R2000 back and everything left us in perfect order and tidy.
Whilst the location was great, it was less than basic. We have electrical problems on day one. Whilst an electrician was sent out the next day, he said that nothing was wrong. We were unable to cook that night and the next night as the same tripping occurred. When we called agent to report that it had not been fixed we were told that we would have to pay for an electrician to come out again! The fact that this agent did not acknowledge that we, the paying guests, were struggling with an electrical issue that's was not our fault was appalling. She took her electrician's side whilst we suffered the consequences of a dangerous electrical situation. We eventually made a video of the tripping and showed that every 2 mins, we would have to go to the electricity box and flip the earth to get power again. Eventually they did send out an electrician to sort the problem but we have zero feedback from them that things had been sorted. We were so unimpressed.

Everything was fantastic except for the parking - permanent residents parked in front of the garage, so I had to park in someone else's parking space, which again in itself caused problems.
The unit's second bathroom shower was a problem with the shower wetting the toilet paper, as well as the floor being wet all the time.
Posh area. Walking distance to all shopping. Clean and quiet complex.
