The open-plan kitchen is well equipped and has a fridge, oven with gas hob, microwave, kettle as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The kitchen has a centre island with 4 chairs. There is also a scullery with a dishwasher and a Scotsman ice maker and a pantry with a second fridge.
Other amenities include a dining and lounge area with comfortable couches and a TV room. , a TV with DStv and a DVD player. Wi-Fi is also available. Outside there is a swimming pool and braai facilities. An inverter system provides backup power during power outages.
The lounge area, TV room and all 5 bedrooms have TV's with all DStv channels. The lounge area and TV room leads to a wooden deck and pool area with views of the canal. There is also a patio with a built-in braai. On the canal there is a jetty with moorings for boats and jet skis. There are 3 kayaks for your use at no extra cost.

4 guests' feedbackThe house is everything you see in pictures. Will definitely recommend it to a large family, large circle of friends for the best experience ever.
Found the place to be very organised and impressive, I would like to suggest that a 2nd set of towels be made available.
The house was great, very spacious, nice to be in the canals. The kitchen has everything you will need to cater for 10 people. The first two nights were very cold and we called the manager of the house and we had a heater delivered the next day. Excellent service, an ideal holiday home. We will definitely try to stay there again.
This is a beautiful house with ample space for quite a few people to socialise, and this is exactly what we did. Safe, loads of space, clean, well equipped with everything necessary and we hope to be back in future.

House rules
No more than 10 guests to sleep in the house.The lessee is not to disturb/be a nuisance to other properties in the area.
The rules of the HOA (Home Owners Association) must be adhered to.
No staff of the Lessee shall sleep on the premises.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house, if you smoke please smoke outside.
No pets are allowed without the Lessor's written permission.
The service fee includes for a pre- and post-stay clean of the house and linen. If additional cleaning is required, for example mess from food and beverage spills and/or stains on floor and furniture, suntan lotion stains on furniture, etc. this cleaning will be claimed as an extra.
Gas for the fireplace is available at an extra cost.
There are 3 kayaks for your use at no extra cost.
In order to maintain the high standard of cleanliness of the house it is the host's policy that it must be serviced by their housekeeper at an additional fee per day.
If there are less than 6 guests it is compulsory to be cleaned every second day.
If there are 6 guests or more it's compulsory to have a housekeeper every day.
A housekeeper will work from 08:00 to 15:00 Monday to Saturday.
Sundays and public holidays are the same rate but she works until 13:00.
The housekeepers are not permitted to iron clothing.
