57 guests' feedbackIt's so hard to sum up the stay in a few words. One feels at home and at one's ease. The aunt is incredibly kind, and a real grandmother with a good heart. Our 2 rambunctious boys weren't a problem for her, and we know boys can be "loud" sometimes. The cottage is very clean, very well equipped and the aunt goes out of her way to make it more comfortable for you. There is also, as I will call it, a "pay it forward" that makes it more special. Previous guests have left a "something" that the aunt leaves in the cupboard for the next guests to use, such as spices, breakfast porridge, etc. We would definitely recommend the place and will definitely stay there again.

Lovely, peaceful stay - you really feel like you are out in the bundus although just out of Johannesburg. Comfortable, well-equipped and load shedding-free. Host exceptionally kind and helpful.
Our stay was indescribably fantastic. We were received extremely hospitably and everything we needed was there and much more. Coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. Wow! Never received such good service anywhere.

We had a tranquil stay in a serene, secure, and private setting with bountiful trees, springbok, geese, and delightful dogs. We truly enjoyed our stay!
What a lovely quiet spot to rest while visiting family or friends in the area. The hostess is friendly and professional. You can spot springboks and rabbits on the property. And if you're missing your dogs at home, Diesel is there to keep you company!

Would like to make a suggestion that a bigger braai could be supplied. Also the water pressure by the kitchen sink could be improved.

Stephanie goes the extra mile to make the guests feel at home, I mean where else will you find milk in the fridge and most essentials (cornflakes, tea, sugar, salt, spices, etc) in the cupboard already! She very quickly responds to a request. The pictures don't do justice to the place, it is absolutely beautiful and spacious. I will definitely go back for some peace and quiet.

Lovely host and brilliant accommodation for a getaway in Walkerville.
The Studio at 19 on 5th in Walkerville is ideal for a couple or a single traveler looking for quiet. The space is comfortable, modern, and has everything one needs for a weekend away, or for someone who wants to get away from the city for a longer period of time. The hostess - Stephanie - is also very friendly and welcoming! As a Kaapenaar, Walkerville reminds me of a beautiful village in the Wille Weste. Recommend this place with confidence!

Everything was just on point, nice and clean linen, in the kitchen was everything we needed, hospitality was amazing, the lady who was helping was so friendly. We used public transport to go there, but she picked us up at the Spa, which shocked us, we checked out at early hours in the morning and she took us to the taxi rank as well. We got a service of 5-star hotels, keep it up 19 on 5th, we will be surely back around August to celebrate my husband's birthday!

Our hostess, Stephanie, received us kindly. Our place was neat and clean and absolutely ideally located as we had a stork (for the women) and diaper barbecue (for the men) at 2 different places in the area. I would recommend The Cottage to anyone anytime, you find absolute peace of mind.
If you are looking for silence, peace and quiet, this is definitely the place to be. No TV is fantastic. People extremely helpful and considerate. Everything was neat and clean, that is until after my dogs wanted to sleep inside after a downpour. We will definitely stay here again and I recommend it to anyone who loves nature and silence.
The place was clean and much more spcious than on the photo's so it was a bonus. We had a really lovely and peaceful stay at the Cottage and Stephanie and her husband was very helpful and friendly. I will most definitely be going back again.
