18 guests' feedbackOur stay was lovely. We really enjoyed the beach view, it was amazing. However, work can be done to the house. The beds are a bit old; maybe get new beds. The shower in the ensuite bedroom was very uncomfortable to use and not very friendly. Only certain channels were available to be watched on the DStv. The blinds need to be replaced. The cutlery should be the same; the big plates are all different, the glasses, etc. Try to get them all the same in shape. It would be wonderful to install a dishwasher as well and get a small freezer as well. We enjoyed the swimming pool.

Was not our preferred unit, but that's what was available. Beds are uncomfortable and noisy. The unit accommodates 6 but there are not enough cooking pans etc. Outdated kitchen cupboards and little grocery packing space. The cleaning service fee is a bit steep and not worth it and it was apparent the unit was not cleaned before arrival (dust on wall tiles etc). Did not use the shower as it did not look clean.
Lots of things to keep the kids busy. The only snag was the fridge which we couldn't get set lower than 16 degrees which forced us to remove all the meat etc. store in the freezer.
Big enough for 6 people, except the balcony. Braai and visit area definitely not big enough. Weber grill by no means effective for 1st floor balcony. Dirty walls, upon enquiry, we were told that these are spots that cannot be washed off. Gross. Linen definitely needs renewal, clean and fresh are not the same thing. Everything we needed was there, apart from good tongs and a drying rack on which we could hang wet towels and bathing suits. The hooks behind the bedroom door are very effective and useful, they can also be installed behind the bathroom doors. As soon as the wind blows, which is often, the closed room doors make the most horrible slamming noises. We almost had to improvise to get the strumming to stop. This can be easily intercepted and contributes to the client's 'calm' state of mind. Although the price was reasonable, I will not go to 'Beach Club' again. One goes away to relax, the condition of the apartment made it difficult, we adapted quickly and made the most of it. We are both teachers who work hard for little money and therefore we firmly believed that the website would be value for money. Nevertheless, a beautiful setting.
The accommodation was value for money, very safe with a nice view and everyone was friendly. Beach Club 203 will see me again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The walls could use some cleaning, but other than that everything else was perfect. We are definitely coming back.

The facility is amazingly comfortable. Staff on sight friendly too.
The pounding sound was very disturbing and my mother-in-law could not sleep well because of it. It hindered all 3 of us. It was unfortunate. What I especially appreciated was the full DStv. You rarely get that on vacation. I also appreciated the covered parking. The security seemed effective. That was also a plus.
203 Hermanus Beach Club was neat, but a few things need urgent attention. Like the door to the balcony can't close, it's very unsafe especially when we have to go to sleep. Bathroom's towel rack and sink not fixed in the wall. Amenities such as mini golf course also need to be renovated. House also very small for 6 people. Would advise that guests rent larger units. Balcony also not suitable braai area.
