This 2nd-floor apartment comprises 1 bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed, large built-in cupboards with ample clothing storage, and 1 bathroom which has a shower, a basin, and a toilet. The fully equipped kitchen contains an electric stove, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster, and ironing facilities. A washing machine and a tumble-dryer are included.
The adjacent lounge area has TV with selected DStv channels, a comfortable couch, a writing desk, a minibar area and a dining table with partial views of the ocean and the Urban Park. Free Fibre is available. The building also features a restaurant on the ground floor, an elevator, and secure off-street parking with security controlled access and strict security access control to enter the building.
205 New Cumberland is also within close proximity to Cape Town stadium, Green Point Park, Virgin Active gym, bars, restaurants, the Sea Point Promenade, and a drive to the V&A waterfront and the CBD, to name but a few attractions. For outdoor enthusiasts, Sea Kayaking is available 50m away and across the way is the Sea Point promenade with joggers and cyclists from early morning to late evening. A perfect spot to watch Whales, Dolphins and passing yachts. The Sea Point Swimming Pool is 2km along the Promenade, where bicycles can also be rented. Easy access to public transport and a 24 hour convenience store is situated 50 m away.

The off-street parking is very important and adds to the safety features as well as a security guard at the reception and the lifts are essential when staying upstairs; the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery a, crockery, pots and pans, stove and microwave.
New Cumberland was a fantastic place to stay. It was by the beach and close to VA Waterfront. Behind the building was the beautiful Groenpunt Park. It's beautiful and modernly equipped with everything you need. Ideal for 2 people. Very neat and clean with good value for money.

This is a lovely, clean, sunny and secure apartment. The bar fridge was faulty, all items in the fridge froze up! Did tell the owner when we checked out.
The phone number you sent for 205 New Cumberland was not answered. I had to contact website to contact the agent to contact me. The agent said there was TV to watch 7s rugby. There was no TV reception. I complained. Nothing happened. WiFi had code, but not password. We had to go to 75 Beach Road (no parking in 2 km radius) to get the key for the apartment in 163 Beach Road. 10 minutes of struggle to be helped. Called agent again who called the 'hostess' to give us the key. Our vehicle was not parked securely as advertised. The gate to the parking space could not be closed and remained open all day and night.

I would definitely use 205 again. Everything was clean, on its place. It is a very lovey place for a getaway. Close to everything and as I'm so in love with being at the seaside, 205 New Cumberland was perfect!

If you want to attend something at the Cape Town Stadium and don't feel like driving back, you should stay here. You have everything you need and safe parking is included. Absolutely worth the effort and money.
