The apartment is not affected by load shedding. Edith received us very warmly and explained where everything was in Yzerfontein. Even though the weather was bad, we had a great time and rested. We can recommend it!
Superb for the two of us but unsuitable for younger people; maybe that should be mentioned on the flyer.

What a beautiful place to stay. The unit is equipped with everything one needs to be absolutely comfortable while on holiday. Edith's information on the area made our stay in Yzerfontein even better as we experienced things we never would have known about.
The apartment is tastefully furnished, very neat and very clean. The bed is excellent, one of those where you sleep well the first night. The shower heats up quickly and delivers a nice stream of water. The kitchen is well equipped and the pots and pans are in very good condition. Edith welcomes you kindly and is very helpful with her advice on places to eat in town. There is also a good selection of reading books for if you forgot your book at home. The photos don't show the microwave, but that too, like the gas stove/oven, is in excellent condition.
Edith welcomed us warmly. Little treats on arrival. Location and cleanliness are really good. Will definitely book again.

They made so much extra effort for us when they heard we had a 3-month-old baby boy. A cot, baby bath and table chair were set out especially for him. We were so warmly welcomed. Edith declared her our weekend mom and we felt so at home. The view to the sea was the most beautiful sight that greeted us every morning. We were so comfortable with everything we needed. We will definitely go back and recommend 21 on Bakoond to anyone!

Was on leave for a few days and very glad we came here, the town itself is great, quiet and very safe. The place is very clean and tidy and everything you need is there, it's literally a 5 minute walk from the sea. Edith let us know about everything that was going on and where you could go everywhere. She is very helpful and it's a very nice place to get away and rest.

I can only describe our stay at 21 On Bakoond as fantastic. The owner Ms. Edit Luke is conditionally a hostess thousand. We felt welcome as soon as we stepped in. She did every imaginable thing to make us feel special and we really appreciate it. She informed us about places to eat and attractions in Yzerfontein and surroundings. She is also environmentally conscious and we assisted her with saving water. The unit is extremely neat. The location and view perfect. The unit has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped. Since we stayed there in the winter time, the electric blanket was a plus point. I highly recommend the institution.
Ons het ons verblyf vreeslik geniet. Edith het uit haar pad gegaan om ons verblyf baie lekker te maak. Dit is goed ingerig en ons kon vir niks meer vra nie. Bed was lieflik groot en beddegoed baie goeie gehalte. Heerlike stort. Lieflike braai area. Die plekkie is baie stylvol ingerig en ek sal dit definitief weer wil besoek.

Unit was very neat and clean upon arrival. It is fully equipped with everything you need for self-catering. Owners very friendly and extremely concerned about your privacy. It almost felt like they were sacrificing their own privacy to give the guests their space and privacy. Due to the unit having its own entrance, we only saw the owners on the first day and when we left, you are totally on your own there.
