Photos do not do this place justice. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, I would recommend it. The place is very clean and well taken care of.

Would recommend the apartment to anyone anytime. Just feel at home when you walk in there. Bed very comfortable and we slept as if it was our own bed. Equipment in very good working order. View as in photos, see the sea and waves every day and listen to the waves breaking.

It was so nice to walk just a few steps early in the morning and then you are on the. beach. Clean, white, sandy beach.
Room a bit small and inconvenient with sliding cupboard doors that catch when you slide them open. Lacks new sheets, but bed (mattress) quite good. Kitchen with appliances very nice and comfortable. Lounge area could possibly be upgraded to match kitchen.
Swimming beach a short walk away with life guards on duty. Beaches well maintained. Flat conveniently situated to all amenities.
The braai area is a bit far. Otherwise, no problems.
Auntie Christine (owner) was very friendly and helpful from the start, as was Auntie Lynette (caretaker at the complex), we immediately felt welcome. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped with everything one might need. The sea view every morning was picture perfect, the fact that the complex has private access to the beach was a bonus. 26 Driftsands we will see again for sure!

Wow where do you start. The apartment was so beautifully clean, so neat and everything in its place. The kitchen has everything your heart could desire and a little more and if we didn't know where something was, we quickly saw in the instruction book where we could find it. The view is so beautiful, it really feels like you are on vacation when you sit and drink your morning coffee. At least the TV has full DStv which helped our little one during the rainy days. Thanks for that. The braai areas are cleaned so nicely every day, you don't have to worry about having to clean the braai just now, and the caretaker is just as helpful if you need anything. We will definitely come back and experience some more of this beautiful view and friendly people. Thank you very much, see you soon.
Would definitely recommend Driftsands 26. Everything exceeded our expectations. Nice stay and the sea and beach are very close. Service was excellent and location very close to all amenities.

Quiet. Nice rest. With the open windows it felt like the sea was in our living room. Nearby shops. Windows not cleaned. Mop broken. No floor cloths. Fans not 100% working. Maybe bigger coffee cups. Maybe less pillows on bed. But it's everyone's choice. I would turn bed with headpiece against window. My legs are bruised. If there is money one day, a wooden bridge to the beach would be nice. Maybe more braaiers and seats. We will be back for sure.
We had a great stay. The flat is close to the sea with a lovely view and safe parking. Close to the shopping centres.
My wife and I were in the unit for 10 days, not once were there disturbances from loud music or raging children. We were able to visit different attractions every day without spending uuuuhours on the road. My Nikon enjoyed it just as much from the dining room table. The beach is practically yours (although the swimming beach is within walking distance). I can recommend 26 Driftsands to anyone with an open mind, and will definitely stay there again myself. I never write reviews but the place deserves a good review. We started receiving incredible service before stopping at 26 Driftsands. Christine made sure we were safe and we were helped immediately when we arrived at our destination. We were surprised at how incredibly clean, beautiful and well equipped the place was, everything you need is there. The incredible view is something that cannot be described, not to mention the easy access to the beach, which is only a few meters away. The place is close to everything you need and makes the holiday that much more convenient. We will definitely be back at 26 Driftsands and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Christine for an incredible honor experience. You will see us again.

We had a very nice stay. Everything one would need. Just one thing: maybe get a new bed for the master bedroom, otherwise great.
We found the Driftsands very comfortable. We like the Doonside area a lot, have been there a few times. The accommodation was very clean and neat, with everything you need.
