"Amazing"

Was amazing to stay there.

"Convenient, but better value for money available elsewhere."

The unit is quite comfortably furnished, but the kitchen equipment is quite basic. The unit initially did not have enough plates, knives and forks etc. had for the four persons who were booked to sleep there. However, the manager quickly corrected it. The privacy of the unit is somewhat misleading. The entrance to the house is separate from the farmhouse entrance and therefore private. However, the windows of the bedrooms overlook the garden of the farmhouse (which is right next to the cottage). If the blinds of the cottage are left open, the residents and workers of the farmhouse can see what is happening in the bedrooms of the unit. The unit is advertised as being located on a farm. However, it appears that the farm is very small and should therefore be classified as a plot instead. There isn't really room to walk around the farm (since it's a plot). The braai of the cottage overlooks a very small field. The cottage is located a stone's throw from the main road between Kakamas and Riemvasmaak. The braai also overlooks this road, which implies that motorists on the road can see what people are doing if they were to sit in the patch of grass in front of the house. Although not very disturbing, one is aware of the heavy vehicles driving past the unit on this road. The lights of the vehicles also shine into the living room of the unit in the evening if the blinds in the living room are not closed. Overall, the unit is comfortable - I trust that the manager will pay attention to the kitchen equipment that is lacking. For the price we paid, I would expect real privacy and a better equipped unit.

"Very nice."

We had a very nice stay. Very tidy and has more or less everything you need. Missing a few things in the kitchen, but otherwise it was a nice stay.

"Didn't feel welcome, like we weren't expected. No ventilation, lots of mosquitoes and insects and poorly equipped for guests but grateful for the air conditioning."

In short will not go back.

This establishment is located just outside Kakamas on a farm, which means the surroundings are beautifully green. Opposite the unit was a camp and some cattle were grazing there, quiet environment and very peaceful. The unit is fully equipped with neat bedrooms, quality linen and air conditioning in both bedrooms with fans in the living room and dining room. In the bathroom is a bath with shower. Outside is covered parking. We had a wonderful rest and the surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful.

The house is nice and clean, and the yard is wonderful for the wove. It's just more on the plots side, so it was quieter than in Kakamas on the town, but there was a lot of movement in the area in the evening, the neighbors played music until late and the dogs were restless. I was a little scared throughout the evening!
