The main bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, the second bedroom has the option of either twin beds or 1 king size bed, whilst the third bedroom has only 2 single beds. The main bedroom has its own shower/ toilet en-suite, whilst the other two bedrooms share the main bathroom with toilet.
The unit features an open-plan, well-equipped kitchen that contains the necessary appliances to cook meals and a dishwasher to aid cleaning up, although the unit is serviced daily with exception of weekends and public holidays.
The lounge has a Smart TV and free Wi-Fi with UPS to allow you to stream all your favorite channels (bring your passwords etc. along).
The lounge is enclosed by wrap-around stack doors which open onto the balcony, boasting stunning ocean views. A Weber braai and outdoor patio table with chairs complete your outdoor dining options.

Beautiful views from the veranda, and a beautiful beach. It was very quiet and peaceful with not many people on the beach. There were lots of shells to pick up, and the granny pool was amazing for the kids to swim. Will definitely take the 8-hour drive again.

We had a lovely holiday at 3 Umzimkulu. The unit has a fantastic sea view. It is a bit smaller than it looks in the photos, but big enough for a holiday.
Amazing place to stay and the host was gracious. The complex manager provided us excellent service. Would definitely revisit 3 Umzimkulu.

Our stay would have been 10/10 except that the unit did not have aircon. We were advised to keep the windows closed due to the monkeys, so no aircon, closed windows and load shedding proved to be quite unbearable. We resorted to taking cold showers at 1am in order to try attain some relief. The unit is very well maintained and is well equipped, though I would be reluctant to stay at 3 Umzimkulu, simply because of the lack of air conditioning.

With regard to customer service I have given 1 star simply because the owner has accused us of leaving the place in a mess and opening the private locker which is not true at all. The place was cleaned up and dirt was collected and left at the collection point. If that is how she treats her customers with no respect and dignity, it's highly impossible for us to recommend other people to visit her place. Over and above Mangrove establishment is perfect for any holidaymaker, we really enjoyed its hospitality.
The house was very clean and tidy with all the needed appliances. It has a wonderful view of the sea. And a close path to walk to the beach that gets locked at night.
We were constantly kept informed and received a very friendly welcome. The unit has everything one needs and the cleaning service was a bonus. The sea views are beautiful. There is also a lovely swimming pool in the complex for the days when the weather is not good. Will definitely go again.
Unit is neat and well located. Nice walk on the beach and morning coffee on the stoep with the most beautiful view!

Location to the beach could be better, but they are busy and then it will be even more attractive to go on holiday there.
Unfortunately for us the weather was definitely not in our favour.
Nice place. Other guests around the unit are noisy. Not a place to rest in silence. The 100 meters to the beach is uneven and not ideal for older people. It is a 100m to beach, but swimming beach is even further. Pillows incredibly hard to sleep on.
Peaceful and neat surroundings, safe for children, the unit itself was perfect for a family of 6, will definitely be going back.

We stayed in Umzimkulu 3 for 8 nights. The photos show exactly what you can expect and the service and friendliness of the staff was excellent throughout. Except for a few small things in the kitchen, everything was perfectly clean and tidy. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. (Just bring your own tray and tablecloth). One can have a delicious barbecue on the stoep while looking directly out at the sea. There is only one shower which is quite cramped and it is in the master bedroom bathroom. For 2 people this is no problem, but if there are 6 people staying it will probably cause inconvenience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again - we are happy to recommend this apartment.

The accommodation was tasteful and extremely neat. Beautiful view - saw whales and dolphins frolicking all the time. Absolutely everything there that you might need. Walking distance to beach. Close to restaurants, shops and other swimming beaches. An absolute must to go, especially at the affordable accommodation!
The view of the sea was amazing, very quiet. 3 minutes walk to the beach. Safe and provide everything you need for a getaway.
The photos on the website do absolutely no justice to the place! We were accommodated with every request we had, the unit is tastefully furnished, everything you need for a wonderful stay, and nothing beats the views, sitting on that balcony at sunrise is breathing. Wonderful clean beach a quick walk away.
My friends and I felt more like we were in a strict hostel than we were at a vacation, as adults. Too many unnecessary rules just spoiled a great time for us, we had to look over our shoulders all the time and be careful not to do anything "wrong". Also, we had to spend the little time we had together to do an assignment of ticking a long list of items in the unit, we didn't like that. Moreover, we didn't even have an iron in the unit, we had to go out and iron so far in the laundry room - so much inconvenience for us.
