40 guests' feedbackThe only negative is that on both our stays at 30 Chakas Cove, a group of people meet at the public ablutions on a Saturday and Sunday, and drink alcohol in public, and then become quite rowdy. Maybe have this checked - it could put people off staying there. They do leave before dark, though.

The property is just too good to be true. You have Salt coffee shop at your gate and the sea on your porch. The unit is very well equipped and cleanliness is a clear priority for the agents. Does not fix a single thing wrong with the unit.

A lovely stay. Only 1 toilet paper for 7 days/nights for 2 people to share? We found the washing machine and stove a little too complicated and struggled to get them both working. The gate and gate remote were not working well. The verandah floor was flooded as the drain was on the wrong side and water could not flow away. After a long 10-hour journey, the last thing we needed to do was go through that inventory list. Otherwise, all fine and we had a lovely restful stay.

We had a really nice stay, unit is bigger than the photos seem, so that's a bonus. The description king-size bed in the master bedroom is not correct, it's just a double bed.

The place is facing the sea with the best view of the sea. Spacious, clean and just plain great. Actually I want to keep it a secret so it will be available if I want to go again!
Shops and takeaways are right across the block of flats making quick coffees and pizza with kids easy.

Apartment is modern, tasteful and well-rounded. Have to say it's the first time I've used a shower in holiday accommodation that doesn't leak and spill water on floor outside. On arrival balcony and gas grill were not clean. After calling the agent, it was quickly rectified. To great shock, disbelief (does this have to be our turn now?), then frustration and then just oblique irritation, we are unfriendly on the first morning greeted by the construction work in the unit directly next door. From 08:00 in the morning, until the afternoon, every weekday. The hammering and whirring of power drills and chisels was extremely disturbing and it completely spoiled our longing for rest, quiet and "switching off" (after a long stressful time at work). During the cool, rainy days while we were there, there was no rest and relaxation inside the unit. I feel strongly that notice of such activities should be passed on during the booking process (by local agents/owners?). If I do want to continue with booking, it is/was my choice and I cannot complain afterwards about noise and/or discomfort caused by it.
The location is fantastic. The living area is spacious and very tidy. Wonderful bathrooms recently redone.
The unit was ready and clean despite us arriving earlier. Whatever the unit lacks is made up by the fantastic view and good location. Thank you Karin for ensuring all our requests were dealt with promptly. The only concern is the shower door that leaks water which could be a slipping hazard. We will definitely visit again.
The unit is very centrally located and for our needs, it was perfect. The view of the sea and beach was nice. The environment is clean and except for the street, it was quiet (don't know about the holiday season). The only complaint is that the shower leaks. The toilet in the master bedroom's flush mechanism is not working properly. You should pick up the handle after rinsing it.
We would rate the unit a 10 if the DStv would be working correctly.
We had a great time relaxing. The unit has an excellent location with breathtaking views of the ocean. It is conveniently close to a very safe beach, especially for people with small children. Excellent value for money.
An air conditioner, particularly in the bedrooms would have been appreciated. Toilets should be sanitised with daily clean.
Apartment was not cleaned on time, could not enter until 15:30, the apartment not clean well, called the next day and asked them to come and clean, the room stinks of urine. The fridge very badly rusted at the door.
Furnished with comfortable seating, tables and beds. Kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook yourself. The best is the sea view from the porch and the sound of the waves!

It's a very nice place, but the owner can feel free to put some effort into the contents of the apartment.
Great location close to beach with lots to do near by. Gasbraai was nice to have, but instructions on how to light it should be there as I nearly got burnt trying to light it.
2nd bathroom needs sorting out, shower head way too low even for a short person. Cleanliness not a priority and a bit of TLC is needed in this flat. The location was great.

30 Chakas Coves was absolutely amazing. It was clean, neat, modern and centrally located. We had an uninterrupted sea-view. We could see the dolphins from the balcony. It was close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely make use of the place again. Everything was in working order and we had a well deserved holiday.
30 Chakas Cove is a cute place to stay, beautiful scenery, has everything you need on vacation. I suggest that the towels be changed more than just once a week or bring your own.

It was absolutely the most wonderful experience to be able to stay in Chakas Cove. It's clean, tidy, ideally located, close to the beach, close to shopping centers and very comfortable.

Location is perfect and close to Ballito and Salt Rock for shopping. Visit Taspas - the best hippy shop ever - very pretty clothes, even if you're not a hippy.
