This beautiful self-catering house can accommodate 4 guests at a time and comprises 2 tastefully furnished bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room area. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 three quarter beds and makes use of the next-door guests’ bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, microwave, air fryer, basic cutlery, and crockery, as well as a coffee machine. It expands to the lounge area furnished with comfy couches, a dining table, and a cosy fireplace.
The lounge walks out to the lovely patio, a braai area, a splash pool, outdoor seating space and beautiful views. Here, guests can enjoy a lovely morning cup of coffee in a serene setting.
There are various activities for guests to partake in on the premises which include, walking trails, mountain biking trails, and a communal swimming pool and guests can enjoy the sights of the zebra and springbok on their doorstep. Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises.

We had a great time. Location is about 10 minutes outside Tulbagh, wonderfully peaceful and quiet and surrounded by the mountains and nature. We drove past springboks and zebras a few times, as well as a bunch of sheep. The cottage is very well equipped and furnished with care and good taste. The fireplace in the living room is especially nice in winter. We got a complimentary bottle of red wine and eggs, and the owner specially met us at the gate and drove along to welcome us and explain how everything works. The most beautiful view of the Wizenberge.
Views to the fore. Tranquility and comfort. Had such a nice stay. Well equipped and the host is always available if you have a question.

A lovely, homey feeling and lovely hosts! Relaxed atmosphere and our dogs had the best time on their walks, checking out the sheep, springbok and Mr. Zebra .

I spent 2 days with my son in 31 on Witzenberg. It was delicious, had a good barbecue, enjoyed the peace and quiet and stared at the stars. We also took a nice walk and tasted delicious wines in the area around Tulbagh.
Everything you could possibly need and more! It was a great home away from home and a lovely location. Great that we could bring the dogs too! Thank you for treating us so well!

We had the best weekend at 31 on Witzenberg. The host was gracious and showed us all the ins and outs of the cottage and activities to do in the surrounding area. We spent most of our time on the porch, admiring the views.

Awesome place. Great reception by the owner. All you need is in the house. The fireplace was a lifesaver in cold snowing weather. Beautiful views and snow were a bonus. Would love to go back sometime and stay a little longer. Would definitely recommend this lovely place.
