22 guests' feedbackOur stay at Summer Place 31 has been one to remember! It is clear that the owner and agency take great pride in ensuring the best stay for their guests. The unit is extremely clean, neat and well-equipped, to say the least. It makes provision for even the smallest of requirements. It is perfect for a family with young children or elderly people due to being a ground floor unit. There’s a supermarket located right across the road and the complex has a very friendly security guard who makes frequent rounds (even during the night). Worth mentioning is that the unit has a washing machine available for guests to use. Various laundromats within short distances from the complex can easily provide extra services if required. Furthermore, the swimming pool is enclosed with a wall right around it, ensuring the safety of all children. Across the grass, behind the swimming pool, is a small play area for children, and a safety gate that allows direct access to the beach. Having our morning coffee on the patio whilst enjoying the sight of whales and dolphins are some of our favourite moments. Summer Place 31 will definitely be our first pick for the next time we have a holiday in Shelly Beach.

The communication was very good. The place has everything one needs. Clean and tidy. A bonus is the nice veranda with the most beautiful sea view - you can be on the beach in a few minutes. Very close to any shops - yet you don't feel like you're in a busy place. We really enjoyed the boats and the boat club, and a nice place to eat and drink.
The unit is beautiful, perfect for the little ones, very well equipped. Location is great, within walking distance to shops. Lovely pool, great access to the beach, and very safe. We loved our holiday. Thank you.
Lovely unit but does need some maintenance. The shower leaks badly; the whole floor next to the toilet is wet after showering. The other side of the shower has a huge damp area. No dish towels and dish cloths provided, which we were not advised of.
Master bedroom mattress may need replacing.
Everything we needed was available. Very neat and clean. The location is good. The security is very friendly. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the porch while watching the whales.
Was a wonderful experience, well positioned - on the beach and within walking distance of the shopping center and malls. The children experienced something to what we had as kids, was a special moment when all the kids at Summer Place started playing ball on the grass together. I'm in the security sector and found the onsite guard to be vigilant, alert, extremely polite and well-spoken. It is clearly a decent-run property - the play area, pool & braai facilities were on point. Thank you.
Complex dry cleaner not working for most of the time, a bit disappointed about that.
Was very comfortable and as a family we really enjoyed it. We could sit on the porch in the afternoons and look out over the sea.
Very central and walking distance from the beach which was about 100 m. Boat Club was an experience with the boats coming in and out. Waking up in the morning with the sea view and a cup of coffee on the veranda was indescribable. Thank you very much for a nice stay. The teenagers said TV wasn't even necessary.

Clean and tidy - everything you need.
Beautiful neat apartment on the beach. When you open the doors or sit on the porch, it sounds like you're on the beach. Very well located - Spar just around the corner and Shelly Mall on the next corner. Every morning we sat on the porch and watched the fishing boats go out. Quiet environment and very safe. Security patrols all night long. Can't wait to stay there again.
It is a beautiful and spotless unit (two bedrooms and two bathrooms) with a lovely veranda where you can relax and gaze over the sea. The unit is very nicely furnished and well equipped. Perhaps the owner could add candles for loadshedding. There is a bathtub and a shower in the unit. The shower drain was half blocked, but this can be easily fixed. Furthermore, it was one of the most enjoyable times we have ever had on the south coast. Thank you very much for that.
Beautiful place with the most beautiful view of the sea. Although it rained a lot it was still a great getaway.
