Breakerview Bay 32 is a gem! We were 3 adults and 2 children. The apartment had more than enough space for us and was well equipped with everything we needed. The view over the beach is definitely an outstanding highlight! A short distance behind the view is the direct access to the beautiful beach, which was never particularly crowded. The children enjoyed themselves! Dirk managed our stay very well, and was always available and proactive with his arrangements. The only thing that bothered me was that the municipality was clearly not managing their affairs well. We got extra "turns" with load shedding, and it sometimes affected the water supply. However, that didn't stop us from having an amazing time, and after all, there's nothing the owners can do about it! I would highly recommend Breakerview Bay 32!
Loved our stay at Breakerview Bay. Dirk is an amazing host and made sure that we had everything we could possibly want. The unit is lovely and spacious and well-kitted out, with breathtaking views of the sea. The complex is also extremely well-maintained, with friendly staff. The pool provided a welcome alternative to the beach when it was windy. All around, a 5-star experience, and we will definitely be coming back to Breakerview Bay.
It is a good place; with a good view; quiet; very peaceful and very clean. Would definitely come back.
The accommodation meets all my requirements and more. We were so comfortable and convenient. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, and I saw whales and dolphins almost all day. I'll be back soon.
The view is breathtaking and the unit is neat and spacious. Would recommend it any day.
We enjoyed the stay very much and will go home again. The house is nice and spacious and the view was stunning.
Unfortunately load shedding and unscheduled power outages had a negative impact on our stay.
Breakerview Bay is a very neat complex with excellent security. The pool is sparkling clean and gardens are beautifully maintained. The "penthouse" unit is spacious, well equipped and offers everything needed to have a wonderful holiday in comfort. The unit has possibly the best location in the complex in terms of view. You just feel very much at home. The view is fantastic and yes, we saw the dolphins swimming across the bay. It's a short walk with a series of steps down from the complex and a short path through the dunes then you are on the beautiful, long, wide white beach. There are lifeguards on duty at the swimming beach which is easy to walk to, even with small children and all the beach-wear. The beach at Trafalgar was clean with many signs of a rich variety of marine life. You can walk over to the next swimming beach with rock pools and it seems to me that the men are catching fish, but it's a bit busier there. I should mention that the tidal pool at Trafalgar is full of sand and no longer serves its purpose as a swimming pool, so the beach is not particularly child-friendly, although my little ones had a great time building sand castles, picking up shells and seaweed, chasing crabs and wading in the shallow water posted. The host is extremely helpful and I can highly recommend this treasure of a LekkeSlaap place.
Rarely do you find holiday rental apartments of this quality and value for money. We can recommend this place with the utmost confidence. We will definitely be using this place again on a regular basis. The owner was also very friendly and contacted us regularly to see if everything was OK.
The unit is placed in beautiful spot with views of the ocean the unit is neat and clean and safe.
