8 guests' feedbackWeekend away with friends and kids was nice. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. Shops are close to home. The walk to the beach is very close and refreshing.
Everything was exactly what we needed. Clean, comfortable, and a very relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely recommend this venue.
The house now has lights in it that work without outside power. Gas stove and other appliances that will satisfy all your needs. The best is a fire place inside that keeps you nice and warm in the winter.
We had such a good time, it was hopelessly over too soon. We will definitely visit St.Helena Bay again.
A great self-catering house, which only lacks some outdoor lounging furniture. No where to relax and in the sun. The house and braai could have been cleaner on arrival, but otherwise not bad. There was, however, not enough basic supplies provided (soap, toilet paper, etc.).
Excellent location with direct access to the beach. A bonus was the UPS for the wifi and backup LED lighting during loadshedding.
The house is nice and spacious for a large family. The kitchen is well equipped and the uncapped WIFI was a great asset for the children - even during load shedding. There is a nice big fireplace in the living room because in the evenings it got very cold. The house is a stone's throw from the sea and the weather was nice. Unfortunately the washing machine did not work. The house is also not well equipped for load shedding. A gas stove and more lights would have been good. Luckily we took our own lights with us otherwise we would have sat in the dark, there was one big flashlight that shone very dimly. Overall, I would suggest that the shower in the master bedroom and windows need some cleaning. Nice view but dirty windows. Unlike the comments above, we had a nice stay and the agent was available when we had questions.
For our first time in St Helena we were very surprised.
