Well the beach could be a little cleaner. Especially before La Mer. It's right next to a river mouth which makes it even dirtier. Other than that, no problems.
Will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. Quality time spent with family. Peaceful atmosphere.
We had such a peaceful time. Could literally just sit back and just cook myself. Rest was done for you. Received the most delicious fruit and sweets on arrival. Unit could do with roof fans and a new clothes rack and beach umbrella.
Very nice location and sea view. Unit lacks air conditioners, can't sleep in evening with the heat. No ceiling fans, just standing fans that make a lot of noise. No anti-theft protection, so can't leave the window open in the evenings either. The place is also much smaller in reality than it appears in photos. In my opinion, it is not at all worth the money that is asked per night. There are cheaper places with better facilities. Furniture in living room is very uncomfortable to sit on. If you pay R4000 per night, you expect at least a little more than what is offered. I will definitely not book there again. Much nicer units in North Coast for that money. The staff there is another story. Their service and friendliness is great. That's just my opinion. Other people may disagree.
33 La Mer is a fantastic accommodation. We would definitely book there again. We loved the extra personal touches like fruit basket, eggs, milk and teas and coffees which made it a five star establishment. Also loved that washing could be done and the apartment was so clean and beautifully decorated. Exactly like the photos. No disappointment. We had the best view of the ocean. Gabi was amazing, her hospitality and professional service was of highest standard. It was so good to have someone welcome you when you arrive. Really five star accommodation.
I don't want to tell everyone about this, because if we want to book again we might not get a place.
Sadly it has no air con and very noisy fans which make for a very restless night's sleep.
We have high standards and are very picky on were we choose to stay. 33 La Mer is an excellent establishment. The apartment is furnished to high standards with all the luxuries we are use to. The view from the balcony is gorgeous - see view every day, all day. We would most definitely recommend the unit and most certainly return for another visit.
A lovely, modern, well equipped apartment with a stunning view and easy access to the beach. Everything in the apartment is of good quality from the crockery and cutlery to the linen. Le Che' and the cleaning staff offer an excellent service. The only complaints are: In the main bedroom the mirror is not above the dressing table and the hairdryer cord is too short making it difficult to dry your hair either in front of the mirror or at the dressing table. There's also no stool for the dressing table. Le Che' kindly provided complimentary tea/coffee, sweets and some salty crackers which was most appreciated.
It was very nice. Owners are friendly and helpful. The place is very neat and has the most beautiful view. Security is very good.

It is truly luxurious and comfortable, lacking nothing.
This was our second time at La Mer 33. The view is indescribable! The complex is very safe and quiet. The unit is unbelievably clean and tidy. The daily cleaning service was very helpful and friendly. We're already planning our third trip. The only suggestion we'd like to make is for the main bedroom's mattress to be replaced. The springs sometimes hurt you. But that's it!
The host was always in contact. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and well serviced during our stay. The view was stunning.
From the moment we arrived at 33 La Mer, we knew it would be a wonderful holiday. The unit is very neat, clean, and safe with a perfect location. We stayed for an extra day, because it was so unbelievably nice and beautiful. The patio is incredible and the view is unbelievable. We felt safe all the time, day and night. Marna and Burger were very friendly and answered us immediately if we had questions about anything. Of all the holiday spots by the sea we have ever stayed at, this one is most certainly the best and from now on, it's our new spot. LekkeSlaap's service was also excellent and we use them for all our accommodation needs. We can't stop talking about how absolutely wonderful our holiday was. Thank you! If there were 10 stars, I would have given this little spot a 10.
