35 guests' feedbackFantastic place. Everything one would need is available and a beautiful view of the Kruger. Lots of animals visited around the house, also making it worth every moment.
Such a lovely, spacious home for our trip. Plenty of crockery, cups and cutlery, with knives that are sharp. Well equipped with gas and electric. Bonus to have a dishwasher as well as aircon and fans. Very close to Kruger Park, Crocodile Bridge entrance. We visited Kruger Park every day. Lovely braai area. We loved the birdlife around the accommodation and being able to view wildlife around the Crocodile River, a walk away from the house.
Best location, all the facilities needed, clean and comfortable. Being on a bit of a budget, I was surprised at how much I got for my buck, small things like the ice maker, the mozzie nets, the comfy outdoor furniture options, were things we had come to not expect at this price point. Will definitely try to rebook Seekoei when visiting Marloth again.
Wonderful place and close to the border wire.
Especially that you get visits from animals.
We escaped the city for 4 days and sought out the tranquility of the forest. It is a comfortable short distance into the Kruger game park via Krokodilbrug gate. The unit has everything you need for a break, delicious braai facilities and a boma where you can sit and chat for long hours. The hostess also accommodated us with a special request - I can really highly recommend it.
It is a very beautiful place with a lovely lapa to visit. This is our second time in Seekoeistraat and Seekoei was our best visit yet.
By far the best place I've ever booked. Everything was the best. I can't complain about anything. This place will become my favorite place to stay at when visiting Kruger or surrounding areas.
Enjoyed the visit very much.
Well equipped unit, with lovely swimming pool and view over river. Air conditioning in the bedrooms is a bonus and lovely entertainment area.
Well equipped, clean and very cozy within close proximity of the KNP fence. Owners and caretakers were in constant communication to ensure everything is in order.
We recently stayed in the nice house. The house has a wonderful outdoor living area where we could relax and enjoy nature, with many animals that brought the environment to life. What made the stay even more special was the managers' good communication before and during the stay. She was available to help us and clearly has a passion for the property and the animals. It was a unique and unforgettable experience, and we will definitely come back again!
The accommodation and location were awesome. We had a great time with the family.
Hippo was amazing. Luxurious, neat, clean house that I would recommend to anyone. We had a wonderful stay. Perfect pool to cool off. Lovely evenings around the fire. Very helpful and makes you feel welcome. Thanks for great accommodation.
We were received warmly and the home was spic and span. The agent checked in to make sure that we were comfortable and that we had no challenges. We had an unforgettable stay in a lovely location!
Could not have asked for better, for accommodation and all staff involved 10 out of 10 for good and friendly service. Very neat and clean place. Well done to the team.
Excellent location. Amazing outdoor area to enjoy with family. Hippopotamus and osprey greet you every morning with their sounds.
We really enjoyed our visit and Lani was very helpful and friendly. Delicious barbecue evenings under the starry sky with the sounds of manatees in the background. The Crocodile River with the Kruger Park on the other side was close by and we could enjoy wildlife watching within a few steps. 330 Hippo is very good value for money and everything was very nice neat and clean in the house. There is also everything one might need.
The place is really well equipped and beautiful. It is clean and really peaceful. The owner is very helpful and friendly and immediately sends people out if needed. I would recommend the places to anyone who just wants to rest. This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. Thank you very much Lanie and Leon for helping so nicely when we are struggling and not because there is a problem with the place, but because we are stupid.
Kitchen is neatly equipped with everything needed. House and outside hangout area were clean and tidy on arrival. Friendly service.
Well equipped. Had a great time.
We were met by a friendly host and really enjoyed our stay. Nothing to complain about.
The outside area is great. Lots of seating and the lapa is excellent. Will definitely be back in the summer with the family.
Lovely spacious house and nice outdoor lapa and braai area.
The place was very very neat and clean, especially outside. We would definitely book there again, but were a bit disappointed not being able to see directly onto the river. It was too wooded in front of the house, but we realize the owner can't do anything about it.
First of all I want to say a big thank you to Lani (owner) and also to Susan Baird (managers) for the excellent communication and service. As a solo traveler, accommodation is often a problem, because many places are rented out as a whole or you pay for a minimum of 2 people and only get very small units. This is 1 of the properties in Marloth where you can pay for just 1 person although it can easily accommodate 6-8 people. The location of the place itself is fantastic. You sit on Seekoeistraat and just across the road is the line wire, walking distance. In the afternoons I could sit from the upper veranda and see the giraffes on the opposite side of the river. Because I go to Marloth to relax (even though I still have to work too) and enjoy the animal life the outside area was definitely the best. The WiFi was very good so I was still able to get my work done. The outside area is very large with lapa and braai area and nice big table where you can sit under roof fans and visit and enjoy the animals. Then there is also a boma, enough extra seating and splash pool. The house is very well furnished with everything and more that one could need. There are emergency lights for when it is overloaded with a gas geyser and gas stove. The animals that came to visit and the bird life was just absolutely fantastic. During the time I was there the lions were roaming around Marloth so for 2 nights I had a mum and 3 baby warthogs who came to sleep under the barbecue. I would definitely recommend this house to other people. I have been to Marloth Park a few times and so far this place has been ideal for me and met all my needs and more. Lani was just fantastic and accommodated me when my daughter came to visit for a few days. Susan has been in regular contact and will certainly sort out any problem or request as quickly as possible. Thank you very much again and I will definitely see you again.
We are not Bosveld people but we would really do it again. Our stay was really excellent, not even loadshedding had an impact. People, it's very nice, clean and cozy in Seekoei 3330.
Location great and house perfect.
Such a beautiful place with a delicious lapa to visit. Enjoyed it a lot. Will visit 3330 Hippo again.
The host was accommodating and profesional and the property were just perfect. I would highly recomend this property to anyone considering to rent.
Family friendly. Nice place to hang out on the porch.
Fantastic home the entertainment area was amazing, especially sitting round the fire pit at night listening to the river and animal noises. So many animals came past to visit, especially enjoyed the bush babies in the evening. Susan who manages the house was amazing in ensuring we were settled and everything was in order, she went over and above to ensure our stay was special, would not hesitate to recommend.
Had a great time in Sea Cow 3330. The location is great with only a short walk to the river and lookouts where we saw loads of animals. The place was clean and tidy with all the amenities one needs. The pool saved our lives on hot days, especially when Eskom didn't play along. Will definitely visit again.
We had a great time, the house has everything you need. Lots of animals, close to the river if you want to cross with your binoculars.
I will recommend the place for anyone to enjoy. Will see us again.
