The farm is situated just 7 km outside the charming village of Montagu, in the Little Karoo on the R62. A 193 km drive from Cape Town brings one through the stone portals of Cogmanskloof to the Little Karoo and the charming village of Montagu. This historic village lies in a fertile valley enclosed by the Swartberg and Langeberg mountain ranges.

The cosy cottage accommodates 2 guests and consists of a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom equipped with a toilet, washbasin, bath, and shower.

The open-plan living area includes a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, kettle, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a gas cooker. The unit has a two-seater table and chairs, perfect for meals. The lounge is furnished with comfortable couches, including a fireplace for the colder nights. The cottage does not have TVs to distract you from the sounds of birdsong or the call of jackals and foxes. Spotted eagle owls and Cape eagle owls are handsome predators and are often seen and heard at the cottages.

Outside, guests have access to a patio with a braai area with outdoor seating, ideal for sundowners, as well as a private Jacuzzi. A communal braai facility at the swimming pool enables a large group to braai together in the lapa.
