4 guests' feedbackHouse was clean, WiFi never worked. Lighting was very bad within the lounge area, but very spacious.
Bathroom drains were blocked causing flooding when showering, ant infestation in one room, one room does not have 1 single cupboard or shelf to unpack clothing, one set of keys for 12 people is a challenge since everyone does not go in and out together. I have sent photos to the managing agent and the owner hoping I get some form of response or refund given, the cost of the 5 days. It was a 50th and inviting 10 friends was quite embarrassing since the issues are not difficult to resolve if anyone was interested in basic maintenance. When we arrived there were 8 black bags of rubbish from prior tenants lying in the back courtyard. I would definitely not advertise it until there is confirmation of maintenance. The bathroom walls are peeling off from dampness and look terrible, I can send photos if required. I don't complain often however this experience sadly left much to be desired.
We are incredibly disappointed in als at 38 on Westcliff. On arrival there was no power which was only restored after several calls. Accommodation not up to standard at all for price being asked and marketed with TV's in every room. WiFi was never switched on, pointed out and for R12 000 no DStv. Showers in rooms overflowed and we were expected on holiday to wait for municipality to come and vacuum. After the owner herself admitted that accommodation was not up to standard and would reimburse us for the night's accommodation, no she did not stick to her promises at all. Absolute bad experience!
A suggestion, it would help a lot if you put a tumble dryer and washing machine in the house, especially for a wet rainy weekend like the one we had. Other than that everything was perfect!

Arrival time is after 14:00. Arrivals after 18:00 will incur a late arrival fee.
Departure is before 10:00 and before 09:00 in peak season. Late departures will be penalized financially.
If any breakages occur, guests must inform the establishment. Guests must check to make sure that the inventory is correct, declare any discrepancies when they arrive and recheck before check-out.
Some of the closets may be locked and contain the owner’s items. Please respect these closets and do not attempt to open them as it will amount to theft or attempted theft.
Occupancy at any time, for any reason is limited to the number of persons agreed as per your reservation.
No pets are allowed on the premises.
Guests must not move furniture around on the premises or take the furniture outside.
Fires are only allowed in the designated areas.
Please note no noise is allowed after 22:00 out of respect for the neighbours as the establishment is situated in a residential area.
Children are allowed. Kindly ensure that they do not pull out plants and flowers or jump on the beds.
Cleaning services are available on request at an additional fee. Poor housekeeping and unhygienic living conditions are not acceptable.
