38 Trails End is located just outside of Sedgefield and offers quality accommodation for a large family, 2 small families or group of friends. This lovely house is approximately 5 km from the town of Sedgefield on the Swartvlei lake.
The double-storey accommodation comprises 4, spacious bedrooms, a loft area and 2 bathrooms. The 2 larger rooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed and views over the lake. The other 2 bedrooms are furnished with 2 single beds in each and the loft area also holds 2 single beds. Each bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin, and there is also a separate guest toilet. The house is rented standard with all linen and bath towels. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with all of the necessary facilities for self-catering including a fridge, stove, microwave, a washing machine and coffee- and tea-making facilities. The living area has comfortable seating, a fireplace and a TV with a DStv connection. Please remember to bring a DStv decoder, a smart card and remote to make use of this facility.
The house can accommodate up to 10 persons at a time and is specifically designed for 2 small families travelling together, with a communal entertainment and kitchen area in the middle of the house and sleeping quarters on opposite sides of the house.
There is secure, covered parking for guests vehicles under the house. The house is 5 metres from the water with a jetty for boats. Water sport is allowed on the lake.
The house is situated in a security estate and is very child-friendly. There are 2 swimming pools, 1 of which is for young children and another for older children and adults.

Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R1500 is payable directly to the property.Check-in/check-out details
House rules
1. No noise after 22:00 pm.2. No parties for large groups of guests.
3. No smoking inside the wooden house.
4. Broken items will be replaced or paid for.
5. Please do not use the Nouvelle pots on the fire. There are black pots for the fire.
6. The use of the stairs to the upper part is at your own risk and children must be supervised at all times.
7. The accommodation uses septic tanks, please use the bins provided.
8. No Jet Skis are allowed.
9. The area is in the woods, be careful of snakes and spiders.
10. Guests are not allowed on other owners' property. This includes boats etc.
11. Staff clean the braai area on weekdays in the mornings, but not on weekends.
12. Guests are responsible for damage to the house or any items in the house.
13. Guests must keep to the speed limit.
