The cover picture showing Uvongo Beach is not where the place is so be careful of this false advertising. We booked it fast without checking the actual address, got us staying in the middle of town instead of by the beach. Pictures should showcase the accommodation, not nearby attractions. Keys need to be picked up in Margate which adds to your trip and breakage needs to be paid a day before you arrive and is only refunded 5-7 days later. Also if you hate the place and want to leave early they say they will keep the money. Dirty linen and ice cube tray. Braai area is far from the flatlet. Had nosey neighbours and practically no private space outside.
We swam every day in the clean pool and the other people there were also very friendly and helpful. The place was cleaned outside every day and the braai area was cleaned daily.
Good weather. Nice holiday destination. Value for money.
We were given No. 25 Seascape. The complex is clean and secure. It is within walking distance to the beach and shops.

Refrigerator broke, had to call the people three times, living room couch very uncomfortable, had to use plastic chairs to watch TV, air conditioner not working.
Neat, clean and safe. It's big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Everything is what you need. Shops are close by and you can walk to the beach if you like walking. Very nice place.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Everything was neat and clean and Almarie was just a phone call away for any queries. Will definitely stay there again as soon as I get the chance.

Had a great time. Although swimming at the beach was not allowed, the pool at the lodge was a lot of fun for the kids. The house was neat and cosy. Impressed by the safety of the lodge, secure parking, alarm system and burglar gates/bars on all doors and windows.
There is a photo of apartments at Uvongo's swimming beach which is misleading. One thinks it's the Seascape Lodge, but it's another block of flats. The flat's braai area has an umbrella and on the second night of our stay it rained and we couldn't braai because the umbrella was broken. The owner just said sorry the wind broke it and didn't fix it. During our entire week's stay, we couldn't barbecue because she didn't want to fix the umbrella. The sofa in the living room was done and you couldn't enjoy watching TV.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was big enough for us to not have to work hard on our holiday. The beach and shops we're all within walking distance from us. A special thanks to the owner who assisted us in a time of need. It was a blessing to have had our holiday there.

I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge. It was extremely clean,comfortable and very cheap. The apartment was well stocked with everything you need for self-catering and the lady was extremely friendly and welcoming. I was surprised when I got there as it was way beyond what I expected for the price. Surprisingly, the self-catering apartment even had coffee, sugar, creamer, board games, a safe etc. It's a few meters from all amenities including the beach. I'd recommend it to anyone. Brilliant!
It was just a festival. The place was so clean and tidy, very safe and excellently located. We walked to the beach as well as to the Spar. I will definitely stay there again and can recommend it to anyone who wants a great holiday. It is still quiet and peaceful and Uvongo has the nicest swimming area.

We were 5 adults and enjoyed it, but I wouldn't recommend it for 5 adults, the place is too small for the fold-out bed and limited movement. It would be ideal for 2 adults with children. The beach is walking distance, but not for small children.
I just want to say thank you again for the nice holiday that my husband and I had from 19/7 - 27/7 in 39 Seascape Lodge, Uvongo. We were so hospitably received by Almarie, picked up at Uvongo Spar because we were flying through, and dropped off again yesterday. 39 Seascape Lodge is fairytale beautiful and so clean, it was so nice there, we almost didn't want to come back. I would recommend 39 Seascape Lodge to anyone, it's walking distance to Uvongo Beach and the Spar as well as nearby shops. Thank you very much for your quick emails and help with our booking, you made our holiday worthwhile.
