No. Room TV could not turn on. Aircon in main bed remote not there.
The master bedroom is advertised as a king size bed, but it is a double bed. The mattress is old and uncomfortable and makes a lot of noise. There was no army with inventory or other information as promised. There were no bath mats. The owner confirmed that the mats were not arranged and offered to stay an extra night complimentary. We couldn't work because of it, and would have preferred that they just brought us bath mats. The dish dryer was dirty and smelled like rotten fish. I put him on tablets twice, but the smell lingered.
The place has a lot to offer with the swimming pool and cycling track. Walking trails and running trails were also very nice. Will definitely visit again!
The location was quiet and a nice place to be. The venue suited all our needs, we enjoyed our stay.
Secure parking. Lots for the kids to do! Very neat place with everything needed.
There were a few things that bugged me: There is no indoor braai so we were forced to use outside braai, once we got there we were told we not allowed to use the exterior blinds. It gets quite cold at night. When I asked the agent where remote was for the bedroom aircon I was told the aircon is not for guest use. I saw there was a dishwasher there but no dishwasher tablets were left for us to use during our stay. I feel if you offer your house to rent you should make your guests feel welcome and make them want to come back again. I certainly did not feel welcome and will not be recommending this place to other friends and family.
Would love to go back again.
I needed some rest and relaxation and this location offered just that. All the luxuries of your home, fridge, stove and crockery, the main bedroom even has an air con which helped for the humid nights.
Pity that the tennis court is gone, my only complaint. Otherwise we had great biking every day. Unfortunately the games room was closed due to Covid. House nice lock up and go. I would have liked for hand towels to be provided and hand soap, or at least communicated that there was none, because I had to go and buy. The outdoor braai could use some maintenance and we would have liked to have the handles to roll down the blinds at the braai area for the wind. Otherwise was good.
See feedback I sent to [email protected] Dstv - channels available had no kiddie friendly movies only the "cartoon type channels". This was a real sad point for the kids Plug in kitchen - one of the plugs has no rubber underneath and needs to be replaced Tap in whb ensuite - it doesn't run properly - your plumber needs to clean the filter Screen to patio area - there was no device to turn the screen down and up except for the iron in the braai. We used our hands but this wasn't ideal. I would be great we had a longer pole that was more like a ratchet than a fixed bar
When we checked in on the 4th of January 2019, Marizska at Langebaan Holiday Homes/4 Break-a-way told us that our linen would be changed seeing that we were staying for 7 days. When I asked after the fourth day when someone would come to change the linen, Alet replied and said it was a mistake, they don't change linen unless you stay for 8 days. Very disappointing. There was no washing machine, although the website says there is a washing machine. I had to drive to off-site places for a laundromat. I will definitely not use Langebaan Holiday Homes/4-Break-a-way's services again. I let Marizska know that the bathtub's faucet is faulty. She then asked if she should send someone to come and look at it. I then said "yes, please", but no one ever showed up. The communication was very bad.
Quite and secure, with everything we need to have a break-away weekend.
It's a very beautiful, peaceful and calm place to go with your family for a nice break away from home. My daughter definitely enjoyed herself, the facilities that the accommodation offers are ideal for little ones. Will definitely come again!

Pets are prohibited in the Holiday Home, except by special arrangement for guide dogs for the visually handicapped.
Items are not to be removed from the house. Towels provided are not to be used on the beach. Guests need to provide their own beach towels.
The key- and breakage deposit is normally refunded within 10 business days after departure.
The following are not allowed at the property;
Any commercial activity, team building, party or disco, 21st birthday party,
Matric gatherings (even after their final exams),
Bachelor parties and hen parties, and
No under 21-year-olds will be accommodated at the property without adult supervision.
