4 guests' feedbackWonderful apartment, on the promenade and close walk to both shopping centres.
We arrived and the apartment wasn't cleaned, we found papers under our duvets on both beds. We found a man's leather slops under the bed. The couch smelled of urine and was moist when we sat on it. Under the couch is dirt that's probably gathered for months already. My son got a severe rash on his back and neck whenever sitting on the couches, I had him at the pharmacy multiple times and he'd only get the rash and itch when on the couch that smelt bad.
We arrived late at night and got hold of the keys very easily. The place was a bit difficult to enter. Both front and back doors were difficult to open and close. Lovely place, right on the walkway, but as it is an old building, it needs a lot of TLC. Cleaners came in daily (except Sunday). At the end, they demanded an extra tip and also asked for a lift back to the shopping centre. Toilet paper is only supplied at first so know if you are staying longer, you need to provide your own. No pets allowed in the building. People staying next door had a dog that even ran into our unit. No playing on the lawn in front of the unit. At times, it was very unpleasant how the children played with a ball. No braai. In general, we enjoyed our stay. Was easy getting on the walkway, going to the shops and restaurants. We were there when only a few people were in the building and had no problem with very secure parking. Great having good WiFi and full DStv.
Good location, building needs renovation.
