Very nice and peaceful environment with a breathtaking view over the valley's beautiful gardens. Was able to switch off and relax even though I was on course. Very considerate hostess. Thank you for the bottled water, milk and delicious biscuits.

Perfect getaway spot and the locals are very friendly.
The owner must speak to neighbours and make sure that their dogs are not a nuisance as we were kept awake most of the night by several dogs barking nonstop. In fact, they barked during the day as well. It is very disturbing and would put one off from using the venue for a peaceful stay. Also, both taps in the washbasin of the bathroom need attention and the kettle trips the main switch.
I would definitely recommend 4 Daneel Street. Quiet, safe and more than enough value for money.

The idea of being far removed from the City plays out here, quite nicely.
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. There were nice biscuits, coffee and also milk. The TV and WiFi was a big bonus in the evenings to just relax after a day of wandering around the area. The braai facilities were also made available to us, and the kitchen was equipped with the necessary appliances. Will definitely use their services again. For sure value for money.

Was a lovely visit in Heidelberg and had a very nice stay.
I felt an inviting and homey feeling when I arrived. The guest house is in a modern design style. Love it. When you look out of your door of the guest house, you have this nice view of nature and mountains and farms. So amazing. I'll recommend anyone to stay there for a breakaway weekend or longer.

It was lovely to receive a warm welcome after a long afternoon of driving. The traffic heading out of Cape Town was really heavy. I think this had a great deal to do with the fact that this was the first long-weekend that we were allowed to travel. The reception was warm and the venue well appointed. The self-catering unit contained everything that one would require for an overnight or longer stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the water was hot! (very important in the middle of winter!). I will certainly recommend 4 Daneel Street to friends and family.
We were kindly received by the owner. The self-catering unit is large and everything is available as advertised. Parking is in the yard by the unit. We arrived late and were welcomed by a very friendly lady. 4 Daneel Street is in a beautiful, quiet part of the town. Very safe and a few minutes drive to the shops. The rooms were very clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Everything was 100%, except that there was no hot water for the shower.
Our hostess Antoinette was warm and welcoming.The acomodation is located in a quiet part of the town with a lovely view of the country side. It is situated close to the main centre of town. and accessible to the historical walking route.
