27 guests' feedbackWe had a lovely stay at 4 on Varneys. The team made us feel welcome and comfortable at every turn. Very central and within walking distance or a short Uber ride of the Waterfront and many other attractions and restaurants around Greenpoint and Seapoint.
The accommodation is perfect. We just walked to the rugby field. There are many shops nearby. The breakfast was very well prepared and very tasty. Will stay there again.

Guest house is nice, but it was very noisy. We stayed in the bottom room by the front door, so it is noisy when other guests go in and out every time. The wooden floors are a problem because you can hear everything from the upstairs rooms.

4 on Varneys is a cute guest house with very friendly people. They were very helpful and looked after us well. The guest house is very well maintained and is also very nice inside. Even though the guest house is just off a busy street, it is very peaceful inside. The bathrooms are neat and clean and the bedrooms are very nicely cleaned daily. Will recommend them for sure.
Negative comments are the disclaimer I had to sign which really made us feel like low class criminals and is the first time I have come across something like this. They are also labeled as pet friendly which was not the case at the time.
We enjoyed our stay, the location is very convenient and close to several restaurants and the V & A Waterfront! Our room was soundproof and we had a good sleep both nights and felt very safe. The hostess is so kind and made us feel welcome. We appreciated that she also stayed at the guesthouse and checked in with us frequently. Looking forward to staying here again in the nearby future!

4 on Varneys is just around the corner from Green Point's main street and walking distance from the Waterfront, but in a quiet, safe and convenient environment. The guesthouse offers excellent value for money with spacious rooms and a helpful host.
Central yet quiet location, charming old house with inviting little courtyard, everything thoroughly renovated and modernized. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. V&A Waterfront within walking distance. Hosts are very friendly and had many good tips. Breakfast was served either inside or outside and featured fresh croissants - we definitely recommend staying there!

Thanks so much for our wonderful accommodation, it was stylish, breakfast was divine with lots of options. We also spoke to the owners and they were very friendly and easy to talk to. We extended our stay with 1 night, wish we could have stayed longer.
Although we arrived at 23:00 we were friendly received. The rooms were very neat, breakfast well prepared. We enjoyed the accommodation a lot and will definitely stay there again.

All I would like differently (I'm old school) is a sheet under the duvet. If it gets hot at night I want to lie under "something" if the duvet is too hot. Other than that I have nothing to complain about.
We were impressed. Place was neat and clean. The parking was a problem for us. Car had to park in the street, but they then gave us parking the next day. Breakfast was good and we were kindly received.
Good place to stay. Negative comment is that for R800 for a B&B single room one would think that you would get a soap in the bathroom.
4 on Varneys is excellently located with a very good restaurant within walking distance of your accommodation. We will definitely stay there again.
We felt very welcome and at home. Was the ideal place to spend the night without the children.
The noise from the room above us was really disturbing. We could hear absolutely everything. The parking is a problem. There are an awful lot of cars in a very tight space.
