If you just want to sleep, shower and drink coffee, then it is recommended. No table, cutlery or sink to wash cups. Must use sink in toilet.
Place is over priced, needs attention and is not tidy. Linen bleached, towels broken and washed.
We enjoyed our stay, the unit had everything we needed & was far bigger than we expected it to be. A pool in summer is a huge advantage & we appreciated it on the first day which was very hot. The only downside for our teenagers was that we weren't able to connect to the WiFi for some reason but that didn't bother us, parents, too much. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for in our budget.

This was the second time we stayed at 4 Rothman Street B&B. The accommodation is spotless with everything you need - spacious bedroom, sitting and dining room with kitchenette. Our unit opened onto a small garden with a braai and garden table and chairs. It was very hot when we arrived and the pool was a welcome relief. Located in a quiet part of town. The entrance is very narrow and you have to aim carefully with a trailer.

No backup lights at property entrance with load shedding and the intercom didn't work. High risk, could be hijacked.
We had a nice stay. The unit is spacious and well furnished. However, there was a problem with the cold shower water. With load shedding there was also a problem with the "back-up" system was beeping all the time. Parking was a bit tricky.

The gas fold is excellent. Very helpful and friendly. She even made a reservation for us at a restaurant. The unit is very clean, tidy and comfortable. Parking is safe. The entrance gate is a problem: If you stop too close to the gate, you can't get out because the built-up sides prevent you from opening the car door. Stop further back into the main road. The gate does not work with a remote control. You have to physically walk and unlock the gate, drive out (or in) and then lock the gate. In rain, as during our visit, or for a disabled person this is a problem. There is something like an intercom but it is not clear if it works because we had to call the hostess from the gate.

What a comfortable and nice place to stay. There was 1 point about the cleanliness: The place with 2 single beds in the bathroom has glasses on the toilet, the bottom of which was dirty. Furthermore, beautiful, tasty and everything one could wish for. Don't forget to tell people that there is a separate kitchen. The breakfast was also very nice.

There is only one thing that is a problem with most guesthouses and that is the windows that do not have thick curtains. Street lights and security lights then shine through the curtains at night.
