We stayed for about a week in the Guesthouse. The Guesthouse is well situated and we felt safe at all times. The garden and house are beautifully decorated. We had a very nice stay.

The whole yard is incredibly beautiful and spotless. Reception was courteous and very helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff take care of cute details and really make your stay very peaceful and enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again.

We were met by the two workers, who were really nice and friendly people. The place itself is very nice. The main issue with the place was the manager of the place. She has no clue of managing a business. There is no reception, and no clear indication of when any payments are required - it is all handled by WhatsApp. We made a booking and paid the deposit as requested. To pay the rest of the amount my wife had to ask when payments are required. During our stay, the woman found it to be a good idea to come shout at us, like a child because we forgot to pay (the Friday) and 2 days late (end of week, we were going to pay on Sunday instead of Friday) with the payment (although nothing was made official with us), and asked us to leave. The rates suddenly changed from R614 to R940 because of the misunderstanding.
It was exactly as per the pictures. Particularly different. It is very quiet and in a safe area. Couldn't find anything to complain about and would definitely stay there again.

Apart from the fact that 40 on Aspen offers excellent value for money, it is a beautiful, peaceful place with the most interesting decor, a beautiful garden and just a lot of extras to make your stay there comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for Augustine and his service is excellent. We will definitely visit again.
I'll show you the room in exchange for some money, otherwise it's the best place to go if you want to stay in a guest house!
All that is needed is a mirror or dressing table to add make-up and hair.
