Very nice places, will definitely go again. The owner just needs to be called every time you go in and out of the gate, it was a bit bad. Was spoiled with their wine on the table too. Recommend them to anyone.
The unit which is big, beautiful and met all our requirements.
Cottage is very nicely furnished, neat and comfortable. The houses are right next to each other and barbecuing outside has little privacy. Also sits right next to the road where farm workers pass by. However, the braai on the stoep is nice and private. We had a great time there.
We were very impressed with 401 Rozendal Cottages. The braai area is fantastic, the kitchenette has everything you need and the area is beautiful. We would definitely recommend it! WiFi in the rooms would be icing on the cake, but it really is a Cape Winelands gem.
Great, neat and modern place to stay when you are in Stellenbosch.
We had a great stay as a family. It was a pleasure to return to a clean home every day. The room is spacious, and the braai room is very nicely furnished. The home we stayed in is also delightfully private.
The trip this time was to fulfill quite a few appointments. In the meantime I also had to work and prepare feedback. Rosendal is exactly what I had in mind. Safe, clean, uncluttered and I was very productive. The location is perfect just 8 km from the town and easily accessible, especially if someone explains the way to you.
Rozelle 401 suited my needs - tidy, easy access to main routes, nice surroundings and quiet.
My room (Ragdoll) was very tidy, but it smelled like an old braai. The bit of dirt road to the horse farm to the cottages is not fantastic either. I can say that the customer service I received was friendly and very fast.
The cottage was equipped with everything - even braai wood. I recommend him to everyone.

I was so chuffed that Rozendal was available. Great accommodation. Quite key collection! Stunning views. Nice and quiet. Maybe one small thing, the labourers started quite early in the day, but it didn't bother us much!
The cottage very neat and clean. Beautiful view. Well equipped. I would just suggest that there be more than one 2 point plug. Electric kettle would also be an asset. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend 401 Rozendal with a clear conscience. Thank you!
My mom and I had to go to Cape Town for a kitchen tea and were looking for a quiet, relaxing place. We had a great stay in the newly build houses with everything we needed. Highly recommended.
Just what we needed after a busy festive season. It was a peaceful getaway where we could relax in a stunning environment. The unit was very neat and clean with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely use it again.

Stunning between the vineyards. Workers started a bit early, but they were quiet.
The room has the smallest possible window. I love sleeping with an open window, but not here.
Very comfortable stay. Delicious grilled at indoor barbecue on the patio. If neat and clean. Quiet environment with a nice view of farm and mountain.
We as a family used 2 houses, my wife and I in one and my daughter and grandchild in the other one. Just across the road is Skilpadvlei restaurant, which serves delicious meals. Our routes were to Stellenbosch, Somerset West and Brackenfell, very central and very tranquil with a beautiful view of the vineyards. Every house has its own braai, the first bag of wood, matches and firelighters were provided in the house.
Lovely stay. Wonderful view. Excellent location from where many surrounding attractions can be visited. Will definitely come again and stay even longer.
One of the most beautiful places we have ever been! Perfect aommodation for a weekend getaway. Very nice farm workers.
The wood burning oven / little fireplace in the room kept the cold front at bay and we had a wonderful time and slept like babies. We found a nice bottle of red in the mini bar, and we just put the money in the little wooden box. Matches available, but we had to buy our own firelighters to get the fire going. We will definitely visit 401 Rozendal again in November when our kids from Australia visit us.
What a pleasant surprise, the unit and layout. Everything was neat and modern. The biggest surprise was the fireplace and the fridge. The location is perfect among the vineyards and beautiful nature - I will definitely call again.
Was really nice to discover this little gem - great value for money. Away from the noise but close enough to everything - definitely good value for money! Great view of the winelands and Simonsberg Mountain. Will definitely be back.
