We really enjoyed our stay at 41 Ridge Self-catering Cottages, and we even wished we could prolong our stay there.
The cottage is 10 minutes from Mall of Africa and Waterfall City Hospital.

The place seems to be in disrepair. The grass was not cut, the overall cleanliness was poor. There were huge spiders and armies of huge ants. The toilet had been used prior to my arrival and had not been flushed. There was hair sitting in the drain trap in the shower. The bed mattress had seen better days and was uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy. Overall, I would not stay there again, and you don't even see the house in the main photo.
There was a friendly horse and that was the only thing I liked about the place. I was glad to get home.
Secluded and very nature friendly. It was like we were alone on earth, so relaxing.
I can't even remember how many times we've spent the night here. The host and hostess are amazing, the staff is friendly, the privacy is unparalleled. The peacock and hats and "Gert", the horse complete the picture.
Was exactly what we wanted. Away from the noise. Restful. Pleasantly surprised by an unexpected face both mornings. Was a great way to meet the day. 11/10.

In the middle of everything it feels like you are on a farm. Will go back there anytime. Close to the Mall of Africa and hospital. Because it is close to Joburg and Pretoria. Friendly owner who cares a lot about his place.

A horse, four dogs and a quiet room in the middle of Midrand. So close to Gallagher Estate as well as Mall of Africa - truly a convenient location.

The check-in and check-out were easy and I was received kindly. The cottage was clean and tidy and was perfect for my 2 night stay.
My husband was in Netcare Waterfall, Midrand. This accommodation was absolutely perfectly located for visits to the hospital. The distance, as well as the area was good for me. I didn't feel unsafe in any way. Henk and his family were very hospitable and helpful! I will use them again anytime if I have to be in the specific area.
I already have plans to go again.
The place met our requirements.
First night there the neighbourhood was little noisy. Second night was fine.
The spacious accommodation was lovely, fully equipped and very comfortable. The unit is upstairs and is connected to the main house, so some noise does filter though, but it was not disruptive or intrusive. The host was available and happy to assist if need be. The property is very peaceful and well-kept which promotes a country-style atmosphere. 41 Ridge was the ideal place for my short breakaway.
