This beachfront apartment has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second room has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. There is a second, separate shower & toilet for these 2 rooms to share.
The open-plan kitchen is fitted with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer combination and a microwave. There is also a breakfast bar with 3 stools. The sea-facing living area comprises a dining table with seating for 6 people and a lounge area with a comfy couch and TV. A sliding door leads out to a private, undercover balcony boasting magnificent sea views. The balcony has a table, chairs and gas Weber.
We supply all linen and soap and first toilet roll. A hospitality tray is provided for the first night which includes tea, coffee, sugar and Cremora. Guests are required to bring their own bathing and swimming towels. This unit is serviced every four days. Additional cleaning is offered at a fee on request.
An on-site, covered parking bay, is available right next to the unit. Guests can make use of the braai facilities and swimming pool at the Cove property across the street.

Two minutes walk and you are on the beach. 3 bedrooms with the family was ideal. Communication was very good with a friendly welcome from Gordon. Right across the street is SALT with the best coffee, croissants and pizza!

Stay was very good, but some aspects need attention. Cutlery and crockery are very mismatched and visibly well-used. Likewise, some of the appliances need attention. The toaster only toasts one side at a time, and the oven markings are worn away, so it's not possible to see which element is on. The TV is very small and there is no remote. The kettle with a fixed base is just an irritation, and I would expect a slightly higher level of appliances given the cost per day. None of these are showstoppers though, and overall we were still very happy with our stay and would book again. Just some constructive feedback to improve the overall experience.
At one of the best tidal pools in the country with a large variety of tropical fish and coral.
Excellent location! Remember sunscreen and snorkel gear for the tide pools. The Weber grill was a bit disappointing, so grilling every day was not really an option. But the sun, sand and sea more than made up for it. Will definitely go back.
Chaka's Cove is situated on the beach with a short walk to the tidal pools. Lovely large lounge and dining room. Comfortable bedrooms. Lovely kitchenette. DStv with full package. Safe secure parking.
Unfortunate errors: stove, loud noise at certain time (did make a call), DVD recorder not functioning.
Thank you to all the staff of 42 Chaka's Cove. We felt so spoilt to have been able to stay in such a gorgeous place. We will be back with the kids soon, we all cannot wait.
Helpful and accommodating, friendly and considerate. The contact persons very helpful and made us feel at home.
A place that makes you wish you could stay longer, very comfortable and spacious with memorable views from the balcony. The only thing I recommend is air conditioning.
The nearby Flag Animal Farm is exceptional.
