Very nice stay in a clean unit with a garden and barbecue area. Good hostess and concerned about us. Our vehicle was safe and the unit was well equipped with everything we needed.
It was such a pleasant stay, and the host was so polite. It was a cold weekend, but there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm. Really a charming, cosy, and comfortable place. Perfect for a family of 4 or a couple. Will definitely visit again.

The apartment is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood close to the central business district and Botanical garden where we, as nature lovers, wanted to be. Yvonne received us kindly even though it was almost 19:00. We were 2 mums with our primary school daughters for a weekend with a chess tournament in George. The place is comfortably furnished with everything we needed. It was a really nice place for a weekend visit. Thank you Yvonne!

My only negative feedback would be the sleeper couch which my sister found most uncomfortable for our 2-night stay.
This was our second stay here and will remain on our shortlist for our ZA visits. The workaround for dealing with the expected blackouts was more than adequate. Awesome accommodation.

This is an absolute gem! We would stay in the very comfortable, beautiful unit again anytime. The atmosphere of the whole premises is delightful and very welcoming. The hosts are wonderful people with generous hearts and a touchy hand.
Our host was friendly, our accommodation was clean. Even though we stayed at the back we were totally private. One shlep was that it only has one room, our other guest had to sleep on the sleeper couch in the dining room. It was difficult for us oldies to make up the bed. I would recommend that it be advised as a 4 sleeper, but 2 adults and 2 kids. Other than that we had an extremely lovely stay. I will book again.
Yvonne is an excellent hostess. We stayed 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Room and bathroom are large with enough space. We had been private and had a barbecue one night. There are emergency lights for load shedding. I would stay here again and can recommend it.

It's private, quiet and peaceful, the owner Yvonne was very nice and happy to help. Everything you might need is there, gas stove with kettle and 2 battery lights when Eskom applies loadshedding. There is a hard drive connected to the TV full of movies to watch. Lovely large bedroom and bathroom. Can't say anything negative about the places, it really is a little gem and very affordable at that.
Everything clean and tidy and the friendliest host and hostess. Yvonne lets you be at ease and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and at home.

Enjoyed the two nights we stayed here, it was clean and tidy and reasonably priced.
We took advantage of the accommodation because my daughter has to do her fellowship year in George at the state hospital. So we stayed here while we were able to get her apartment where she was going to live and therefore could visit together for a few more days. We were 4 adults, me, my husband, our son and daughter, who stayed here. We would definitely recommend it.
The Garden Route's people are very friendly and their places to stay are some of the very best. We had a great time and experienced no problems.

The flat was stunning beyond words. Comfy beds and sleeper couch. Equipped with everything you need for your stay. Beautiful views of the mountains, and safe to jog/run in the area. Yvonne and Kenny were amazing hosts as well. Will definitely be returning to them in the future.
The keys and security gates work great! The battery-rechargeable lights (for when the power is out with the repeated loadshedding) as well as the gas stove were very convenient during the "off" times. Because we were visiting in the winter, a heater was provided. Only missed a washing machine, had to have laundry washed and dried by our kids.

It is always a pleasure staying at 42 On Adderley. This was our 2nd visit and we are always welcomed by Kenny and Yvonne with warm smiles when we arrive and depart. It feels like our second home away from home. Our kids never want to leave! We will definitely be back! If we could, we would give a rating 10/10. The residence is in a very safe, tidy area, the cottage is completely private, we could come and go as we pleased. Fully equipped with everything you could need and more, would be very comfortable staying there for a week or more, lovely bathroom and the bed sleeps great. The unit has a good location, friendly owners and in quiet surroundings. For TV addicts there are recordings but no TV reception, we didn't mind. Nice outdoor table and braai available.

Only negative was that the bathroom offers no privacy with a see-through door. Does not make any sense and made worse by the fact that there is no shower curtain/shower glass with the shower directly across the glass door. But overall, fantastic accommodation with lovely hosts, would recommend them anytime.

We were kindly received, the unit was nicely furnished and we immediately felt at home. The master bedroom bed and bedding were wonderfully warm and comfortable and the boys also slept comfortably on a sofa bed in the front room. The unit is close to Outeniqua High School and we were able to let our younger teenager sleep alone with peace of mind while the rest of the family went to school for sports. Already recommended to friends.

The Easter Bunny even made an appearance and made our daughter's day. Whether it is for accommodation to explore the Garden Route or for accommodation to attend sporting events we can recommend 42 On Adderley. Think you have too few stars for the review. Wow, it was very nice to stay there. The owners are so friendly. Just fell in love with the place. So comfortable and has everything and more than needed. Even had a Christmas tree for us. The is a big must to stay. Will stay there again as well as very affordable.
We were warmly welcomed and everything was in order and neat and clean. Slept well and no complaints at all. The place was central enough for us to get to all the golf courses. Will definitely recommend it. Everything 100%!

We used our accommodation as a base while we attended our son's hockey tour. It was ideal as it was close to the schools where he was playing. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and accommodating. In time a new mattress might be required for the double bed. We enjoyed being able to braai in the evening and appreciated their attentive service on arrival, during our stay and on departure.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the unit was clean and tidy. Just a note: the 'bunker bed' in the living room was extremely uncomfortable and hard. It's not even suitable for children. Apart from that we had no problems. I would recommend it for 2 adults and 2 children, not for 4 adults.
