130 guests' feedbackOur first time in Marloth and it was a feast! The animals, the trees, the river.
Enjoyed my stay and felt very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy.
Best place we have ever stayed in Marloth Park, very practical.
Very peaceful environment.
The stay was lovely. Nice self-catering unit. A wide variety of animals visit the unit on a daily basis. There is an aircon in the main bedroom. Big fan in the room with single beds. The living room has sleeper couches. Nice stay. Neat. The splash pool is a huge plus for hot days. Loved the stay. Will definitely go there again.
Yes, another air conditioner in another room could be a bonus for sure.
Very nice stay. The house was clean and tidy. Would recommend that air conditioning be installed in the other bedroom as well. The pool was lovely and clean and very welcome.
Lovely , lots of animals came through to the house for food and water.
It was very nice. The interaction with the animals was incredibly fun, especially for the children.
Very neat place. Exactly as the website said. Really enjoyed, is big and open. Will definitely go again.
Apartment is nicely located. The small pool is definitely a winner in the hot weather.
Lovely home to get away from the routine. Enjoyed every minute.
Very enjoyable, thank you.
It is a very comfortable place to stay. I just think there could be some improvements, like the missing additional warm blanket for cold nights. The microwave is a bit small for the large plates that are in the place. I would also suggest checking in advance that everything is in order at the premises before people arrive, such as the TV that was not working.
We really enjoyed our stay at 4230 Impala. The place is nice and clean and we had everything we needed. The owner and Louise, who handles the overview, helped quickly if you wanted to know something. The pool was nice and clean, which was a first for Marloth, and there is a nice braai area near the pool for a cozy fire while you sit in the water and cool off and listen to nature. We also saw many animals near the cottage.
Many animals. Dry, but it's just after winter. Will visit there again.
The place is as advertised. Everything is in its place, clean and tidy. We enjoyed it very much.
You don't have to go anywhere, the animals come to you. You can completely switch off from everything and everyone. Beautiful rooms and really enjoyed the splash pool. I will definitely book there again, thank you very much.
Can recommend that maybe there should be a 2 plate throttle to help with loadshedding. Then at least you can cook and coffee too! The sofas in the living room are uncomfortable and the TV channels are not up to standard.
The animals that move between the houses create a wonderful and relaxed atmosphere. The feeling life is also special.
The warthogs, kudus and guinea fowl visited us from time to time, then we were also entertained by the blue monkeys with all their antics on the front porch. Luckily our security door was closed, even though we were sitting on the porch, otherwise they might have slipped nimbly into the unit. We also heard the lions every night.
House is easy to find and close to als. Facilities are adequate and the place is easy to keep clean.
We had a wonderful stay. Felt like my own little house. Will definitely visit again.
Marlothpark and 4230 Impala will see me again soon, lovely peaceful and tidy place.
Many animals came to visit.
Beds very comfortable. Sofas in living room not too comfortable, but it is better to sit outside.
Great location with excellent facilities, peaceful atmosphere for renewing the spirit!
Marlofpark is a lovely place to just rest and watch all the wildlife that roams around.
Definitely worth it.
The little pool is a big plus in the heat. The animals often came to show their eyes. The tranquility was a welcome bliss.
The two fans in the second bedroom are out of order. The walls are full of insect droppings.
The woodland is soul food. If you want to rest, book yourself a weekend or week in Marlothpark.
Very peaceful environment.
Very cute place, will definitely go again.
Seen a lot of wildlife at home. Wild game is domesticated and simply fed by hand. Will go back there again anytime.
To add air conditioners in bedroom 2 and lounge. Otherwise very pleasant stay. Would go back.
The unit was great but lacks a few items namely: ladles, a mop and a mat by the sliding door especially with the rain and a few hangers. The unit was otherwise very neat and clean upon our arrival and would have loved to return it to you as well. Once again, thank you very much for everything, we all thoroughly enjoyed the time in the Bos. Will definitely visit again.
Definitely value for money. On our arrival there were already 6 giraffes right at the chalet. Place was neat and clean and had everything needed. Wild came to visit right on the stoep. Can only recommend for flashes during load shedding, but not even load shedding could spoil the experience. Thank you very much Andre. Would definitely recommend 4230 Impala!
Our family enjoyed it immensely, especially my son who was amazed with the giraffes, 'resident' bushbuck, kudus and warthogs who came to say hello every day. The mattresses were already slightly worn, but at least they didn't get up with soreness. All and all it's a great place that we will definitely see again.
Very neat and clean house. I'll just bring my own pillows to sleep on next time.
Neat, clean and well located. Will definitely see us again soon. No. 1 on our Marloth houses list. Place is neat, and only the necessary is in the house. Remember to take your own towels. But we don't use other people's towels anyway.
Very neat and clean. Lots of wildlife coming to say hello.
Will definitely visit the beautiful place again, it was lovely and peaceful and the animal guests every day were very welcome. Would happily recommend Impala 4230 as it is ideally located, tidy and pocket friendly with lots of attractions for any nature lover. Thank you very much for our lovely stay at Impala.
The unit met all our quirks. Very conveniently laid out.
Quiet and cosy place in the bush. Liked the privacy.
You are far enough away from people to feel alone in the woods, but close enough to shops and the wildlife park. Animals come to visit you every day (kudus, warthogs, blue wildebeest, roe deer). Everything you need is there.
We were happy with our stay. It was very hot and the unit had an aircon in the main bedroom. The pool was enough to keep us cool on the hot days.
The house meets all requirements. Very well equipped. Excellent beds. Sofas in the living room could be replaced, the current sofas are worn out and very uncomfortable. Mosquito gas in front of the windows and sliding doors will go a long way in the hot months to get a breeze through the house.
The house and facilities are excellent. Information regarding Marloth park was available inside the house and helped to orientate us and plan activities. The security is exceptionally good. The animals visiting the house was an unforgettable experience.
The house is very neat and we had a wonderful stay.
Quiet peaceful and very affordable, get more than what you pay for, will definitely go back to the same place again.
The bedroom with the two beds need to be replaced. They were extremely uncomfortable as the springs where out of the foam, and that shower did not drain. Other then that it was really lovely.
The scenery are great, surrounded by animals real bushveld feeling.
Everything was good except for the sleeper beds, whooo ouch I could feel the planks. Other than that amazing.
We as a family enjoyed it so much with all the animals that came to visit us, warthogs, goats, monkeys, etc. So nice to be in nature.
Neat, clean with everything needed.
I would suggest WiFi and air conditioning in all the rooms. For us Hoëvelders it gets a little too hot in that area. I'm sure it will keep small families coming back again.
The beds were poor, especially 2nd room although there had been complaints about the beds before and the owner promised that new ones had been purchased. However, this is a story and I only found this out afterwards. There were other problems too, I'll just leave it at that, a bit disappointed. Would recommend the house if the owner kept his promises.
Huisie het n urine reuk gehad, borde was nog vuil gewees, bed oortreksel het kolle op gehad, sleeper coach was vol krummels en chips toe ons dit oop maak, mure is baie vuil. Verder was dit n lekker plekkie gewees.
However, all beds were old. The blankets had a bad smell. We didn't receive any towels. We couldn't open the sliding door. However, we enjoyed the animals.
On our arrival (19:30) the house was filthy dirty (walls, floors, bedding, blinds) and on top of that there were no towels (this is not excluded according to the booking information). We called the caretaker who brought towels (with stains on them) from her house the next morning. I could not bathe my 2 small children after 6 hours on the road due to the towel situation. The walls are dirty and need a wash. There was insect droppings through the bathroom wall. The bedding had stains on it and there was only a dirty blanket over the master bedroom bed. At least the spare room had warm duvets. The blinds are battered and stained. Cups and plates are "chipped". The beds are uncomfortable and slept through, this includes the "sofas" in the living area which are actually pull out beds. I mentioned photos as evidence of everything above. I will never return to this house.
Really very nice and clean. Everything you need without looking. Beautiful and neat (just what you want when you go on holiday).
Had a wonderful time and house is well equipped. Recommend the place to everyone.
The accommodation was clean, tidy and particularly spacious and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful and of course animals came to visit us at the cottage. We will definitely book there again.
It was our first time there and really enjoyed it.
4230 is nicely furnished for a family. The children slept wonderfully on the sofa beds. Everything needed is there. Animals come up to the stoep and especially the warthogs come to visit often. Quiet and away from the city noise. Just remember your own towels.
Crazy about the Bosveld and its animals.
From being a frequent visitor to the Kruger Park, it was always a dream to hand feed an impala or kudu. My lifelong dream was fulfilled over and over again staying in 4230 Impala. From feeding warthog, impala, kudu, zebra and the list goes on within a space of 10 days. I have now ticked this off my bucket list. From the crystal clean water in the pool to the spotless unit with all household items you already have at home and more. Sure going to miss the aircon though!
Goeie waarde vir geld en fantastiese diens!
It was very nice thank you, had a nice stay and rested.
Would recommend adding more aircons. Way too hot. And the bedding smelt strange.
Nice stay, children loved the animals that walk between the houses.
Will visit the house again, quiet area with lots of wildlife that comes right up to your porch.
Everything in the house was very clean when we arrived. The bedding was freshly washed and the main bed was more than comfy. The kids mattresses on the bunk beds, however, were very uncomfortable and they did not sleep well at all. There are a couple of utensils missing in the kitchen that would have been great to have to make things easier. The house is perfect, the splash pool is lovely and the animals visit frequently. Overall we loved every moment of our stay and will definitely be back.
The stay for me and my spouse was very nice. The second bedroom with double bunk beds is impractical if adults would share or children of both sexes need to sleep there. The pool can also be clean. We really enjoyed it though.
Had a great stay. Conveniently located.
Wildlife on your doorstep.
See stars.
21:20 arrived there. Then we first had to try to figure out how to get hold of the key. From the time we arrived there until 7:30 Saturday morning there was no power. It is sad to rent a place, but rather sleep in the vehicle because it is more convenient due to the power cut. We did have a nice stay and slept the Saturday night.
Very comfortable, swimming pool just a bit small.
Unfortunately there was no water in Marloth Park either, but at least we could use the pool water. There were also no towels or bed mats. After we called the manager, he said that it was not provided and that it was indicated as such on the profile. We couldn't find it on the profile. It was very unpleasant.
It was very nice when the animals ate from your hand and the children enjoyed getting so close to them. The house is well known and very tidy. We had a nice stay and visit
All that you need for a quick rest.
Animals visited us often and the aircon did its job well. Will see us again for sure.
We were pleasantly surprised with 4230 Impala. It is ? very neat well equipped place. Everything is nice and clean and we felt very much at home. The accommodation costs per night are very reasonable! Would have liked to have air conditioning in the second bedroom and living area as well. Would stay there again anytime.
Everyone is very friendly here and also the nearby villages. The wildlife is abundant and you see everything, what you don't see here, from your porch, you won't see in the Kruger National Park either. The accommodation was particularly neat and clean. The kitchen is better equipped than my own kitchen. Sorry about the load shedding, but not the place's fault. If the power goes out, all cell towers go down too. Vodacom is barely surviving. Felt very safe with all the security. The high street is close but didn't bother us at all, used to much worse. The only thing that bothered me a bit were the beds in both rooms, old, hard, too soft and slept through. Sorry about this, couch sleeps great though.
Apart from the tarmac nearby which was a bit busy on Friday night, this is a wonderful place that we will definitely visit again. Animals were plentiful and very tame.
Very peaceful and you can relax. All you need.
Saw many animals at home. Pool was a hit. Clean and comfortable 2 bedrooms each with own bathroom.
Very suitable for a stopover to visit wildlife park. 4230 Impala is more suitable for families with children as the spare room's beds and mattresses are more suitable for smaller persons. More air conditioners can also be installed as it can get very hot in the summer.
Perfect accommodation if you are looking for a comfortable, clean place to sleep for a visit to the Wildlife Park. Braai place handy, nice and quiet, animals up to the front door. Bring your own towels! Beds comfortable but need replacing.
It is very nice and highly recommended. Clean and neat, not crammed for space.
Good value for money. Very happy with everything.
We saw zebra's, Blue wildebeest, kudos, giraffes, warthogs and mongoose. We saw all these animals tight on our doorstep. I have already recommended to my friends and family that they need to go for a holiday to Marloth Park. We will also be back.
Very neat and clean accommodation, everything you need!
A great place in the bush to unwind and relax. Quite and warm.
A great place to unwind and relax in peace.
I will definitely go again and make use of 4230 Impala again. Very neat and it has everything you want.
Had family time over a weekend and we enjoyed it very much as a family. You will see us again.
Nice surprise. Well appointed with everything you could need and more. Problem was on arrival at the property. No one met us there and it was not arranged where to get the key either. Otherwise we had a great time, saw a lot of wildlife and rested well.
Wonderful stay. En-suite bathroom is a luxury.
Owner should consider possibly installing an air rail in the living area. With a daytime temperature of 43 degrees, the single air conditioner in the master bedroom struggled to cool the chalet. Owner can also make stay more pleasant by investing in six place mats for the dining table. Chalet is otherwise adequately equipped for 4 adults.
The place is very neat, clean and was ready upon our arrival. Louise and Andre made us feel very at home and welcome (especially making a plan with sleeping place for our 7 year old) and telling us what we can and should do. The place was ideal for us to drive from there in the morning to Kruger Park and walk in Marloth Park. A short swim in the splash pool after a hot day did the trick. The braai place had nice lights and worked well and every evening the tame warthogs, kudus, mouse dogs and other animals came to peek.
It was very nice to visit among the animals and the place is very conveniently located, easy and quick to get to the wildlife park. It was really a very pleasant experience.
The animals come to say hello even before you unpacked properly. It was convenient, clean and neat. We did not experience any problems. Enjoyed it very much and will certainly do so again.
I actually rented the house for myself and my grandson who is twenty-one years old. The accommodation was perfect and having our own bedrooms and bathrooms ideal. I would go there again anytime and will recommend it to all my friends.
Excellent value for money. Location is very good - about a 20 min drive to Kruger. House is well laid out and kitchen is well equipped. Splash pool is a great idea. Great to see the kudu and warthogs strolling around the area. The viewing points on the river (short drive from the house) were also a big plus. Maybe need to let guests know beforehand that you need to pack in towels and soap.
The chalet had everything we wanted. Just small problems like no bath mat, and the shower door doesn't close properly. So the floor was wet after every shower. The door of the main bedroom wasn't locked and as we never used it we only discovered that after the second day.
4230 didn't disappoint again. Was fantastic, the warmhogs, kudu and blue wildbeest were fed.
It's probably a place to which when we will go again the children tired themselves playing in the ground, it didn't deter the animals from coming to show their eyes. Just a pity the bed's mattress was already hollow so it was laid out. Furthermore, a very nice holiday.
All the mattresses are bad. The chair in the kitchen is impractical. Other than that it was beautiful. Will use again. Regards.
It was clean and very comfortable! Really good value for money! Would recommend it to anyone.
Our time there was very nice. The place was so beautiful and neat, there is everything you need. It's quite close to als and I also saw nightingales in the tree by the built-in braai. We just wanted to make the guy an offer to buy the place over, so that was great.
It was very nice, would go again anytime.
We really enjoyed it and the animals were really close to us.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet! The house is wonderfully tidy and clean, and it is equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for your kind service, we felt at home! We were greeted every morning by kudu, surely a beautiful view!
Thank you very much for a neat, clean, well-equipped place. We will definitely want to stay there again.
The layout is modern, enough room for four people. The animals (warts, zebras and kudus) were plentiful and so tame. Had a good laugh at the warthog that knocked over the water drum to cool off in the mud. The splash pool had been a welcome cooling off, especially on Friday when it was 39ºC. Maybe 2 suggestions, to put 2 extra aircons in the 2nd room and living room, that would also help a lot. Fortunately, the fans came in very handy. Not sure if I misread the ad, there was no mention of bringing own towels. Luckily I brought along. Other than that, had a great time and stay, will definitely book again (already recommended the place to friends). Thanks to Elize for the friendly welcome and handing over the keys. Thank you Andre for your phone call to find out if everything went well.
The house at 4230 Impala was worth every cent, we had a wonderful time and the kids loved it! Remember to take bath and swimming towels with as there aren't any in the unit. Thanks so much for your hospitality, Andre, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing bush holiday.
Everything was very good, except that there was no TV set as advertised. The microwave oven was also unusable as the turntable was not in it.
Worth it for the family.
No TV as advertised. Specifically want TV for small kids at night.
Will definitely use again.
Had nice time to relax, a lot of animals came around to the unit. Felt safe and excited to go back again someday.
Very nice place with everything you need. A portable pump for the swimming pool may come in handy in the future, as well as perhaps a nice boma built like this between the swimming pool and braai place. Other than that, very very nice time for the weekend. Will definitely book the place again in the future.
See stars.
Plonspoel was part of consideration for booking, but found that it emptied itself, so couldn't sit in it even though it was 37 degrees outside. Short insect screens in front of windows.
Stylish furnishings and there was nothing short. Air-conditioning could be added to the rooms.
Just two suggestions: 1. There is no wire cage outside yard for putting out garbage and plastic bottles. 2. A cleaning service may need to be looked into if you are staying 3 days or more.
