The accommodation was top quality, everything was clean and tidy. The restaurant food and service was excellent. Definitely a place we will see often.

Not quite what I expected. Centrally located, but not in a "good" neighborhood. Toilet water flowed very slowly into the tank. I have notified its receipt. I hope they pay attention to it.
No hot water at the shower, boiler did not work, the area where the guest house is located is very dirty and does not feel safe.

The wifi didn't pick up on phones. Wasn't enough toilet paper and outside table seating non existent for a couple plus the cement bench is broken. Room number 6. struggled to find someone to take us to room and trying to leave in morning was a nightmare. No one to help. No plugpouns by bedside to charge phones only at the tv.
The restaurant is against the room and the noise is bad and it was Sunday night. The bed is also very uncomfortable.
Very disappointed. Very dirty. Aircon not working. TV only works if you take your own Netflix. Didn't want to return our money, so we lost R995 and preferred to just drive. Would definitely not recommend the rooms.

The room was not at all like advertised. Booked for 4 people, there were only 3 mugs, 3 glasses? Water was ice cold in the morning when we wanted to take a shower before driving on. No bathroom rugs. Just a small towel lying on the floor before the shower.
Room small for 2 adults and 1 teen, no DStv. It was bad weather but on our checkout there was connection in restaurant but in rooms nothing so not a good experience.

For the value you pay compared to the competition from other guesthouses in the area, this is definitely worth it. The menu for dinner is very short but very tasty. If you don't sleep over, feel free to eat there. The rooms are very hot and not all have air conditioning, but when it rains the rooms are nice and cool. It's not too far from shops and restaurants and feels very safe. I can definitely recommend it. PS The owner's brother looked after us and was so friendly and genuine! Thank you very much!

Was pleasantly surprised with the whole setup. The owner treated us exceptionally well and the meals we were able to enjoy on site were incredibly good.
We were warmly received. Definitely felt welcome and the service was excellent. The host upgraded us to a larger room as there was one available at no further charge. The food was excellent. Had a great sleep and was therefore able to start our return home rested the next day.

No towel rails, no toilet paper holder, door's hook on slate floor, shower dams up, gas geysers didn't work properly, cold showers, no fan or aircon.
There was a water leak in the bathroom which filled the foyer with water. The toilet seat was loose. No hot water on Saturday night after one person showered and also on the Sunday morning. People made noise from 00:00 till 03:00 in the morning. I won't recommend this place to anyone and I won't stay here again either. Very disappointing, since I usually book my accommodation through LekkeSlaap and I've never booked such a bad place. The place was clean and looked OK from a distance.

The owners are friendly, the guesthouse is neat and clean and the accommodation was pleasant.
The last upgrade was done too long ago. It is OK and can be really cute, but half of the stuff was broken (lights, fittings, floors). Restaurant closed on a Friday night. TV made screeching noise and should be replaced with a flatscreen. Just because people are only staying for one night, does not mean no effort should be made concerning the rooms.
