If I was to summarise the experience it would read. Very comfortable, conveniently located, cosy.

The stay was nice. It is a self-catering place, but there is no stove for cooking. We had to drive up and down for food. It would have been much nicer if we could make our own food instead of driving back and forth in busy traffic for something to eat.

Our stay was very pleasant. The unit was very comfortable and larger than what we expected. The staff is friendly and are very eager to help. The lodge is located in a nice quiet area, close to a very nice shopping center and very close to a lot of amenities including Ushaka Marine World.

The place was kept clean all the time and no distance. But please clean the pool.
Apartment was beautifully clean and tidy. Friday night there was loadshedding which did not bother us but on Saturday morning the power was switched off at 8 o'clock to do work in the office which is in the main house. I feel they should have just notified us or do the work when there are no guests. We left at 10am and then they would be busy for another 30 minutes. This meant that we couldn't drink anything and I couldn't blow dry my hair.

Shower and room needs to be cleaned properly.
The location was great, the Wi-Fi is excellent. But the general cleanliness of the room should be addressed. The mould in the bathroom against the ceiling is unacceptable, decent teaspoons and unchipped coffee mugs should be looked at.
The WiFi that didn't work disappointed us a bit, but other than that the visit was nice.

Our arrival was very disappointing: the intercom at the main gate was not working. The parking space was totally inadequate. The room reserved for us was upstairs with an outside stairway which warned that it could be slippery. As pensioners it was not suitable for safety reasons. The room we were allocated was extremely small (15 square meter) with a king-size bed. There was inadequate space for our suitcases and no chairs to sit on. The bathroom (shower, basin and toilet) was exceptionally small. It was very uncomfortable and it was exceptionally evident that all costs had been cut in making the room comfortable and user-friendly. The garden and surrounds were untidy and the grass needed to be mown and tidied up. Not a pleasant experience.
To stay overnight, the place is ideal. Easy to get to the airport and especially well located if you want to get to the stadium. We had a nice stay, my unit just smelled strongly of smoke.
The garden was overgrown, grass at knee height. Swimming pool was a swamp. An effort was attempted to overdose the pool with chlorine before our arrival. Chlorine vapours hung in the air. Once in the pool, it felt like a river bed under our feet. Hardly any cutlery and glassware. The shower head was broken the morning of our first shower with hardly any water pressure. We were also accused of breaking a plastic toilet brush as well as jumping or walking on the white linen with shoes. Really! This all came from the cleaner that could hardly understand English. There was no doormat at the entrance. This place will never see us again!

Not the most modern - needs some repairs and maintenance but if you don't look too closely it was fine for the purpose of just having a clean bed for the night.

Broadway is a very peaceful place, very clean and neat, very private and well organised.

Delivers what it promises.
It was a good venue to stay and meets the basic requirements for a single traveler, but could also work for couples who just want to stay over for a few nights and have a tight budget. On the up side the linen was clean, housekeeping checked in daily and overall the place was neat, safe and affordable. There is a guest orientation guide in the room, but no WiFi code and when I called reception the person did not know what the code was. On a separate occasion I tried to call someone at reception as the sliding door did not want to lock and there was no answer at the office number or at the main building, where I physically went to knock. I managed to figure out the glitch in locking the door, but it took about 10 minutes and I was rushing to a meeting. The hosts are very friendly and were most welcoming, even assisting me with my luggage to the room. At this price one really can't complain and I think you get what you pay for, but perhaps these suggestions will help improve their guest rating.
We were very unhappy with the service we received at 45 Broadway Lodge. I specifically asked if breakfast was included in the price and it was confirmed to me on both my applications that breakfast was included. When we arrived I asked the lady what time breakfast was the next morning and she said that it wasn't included but that she would find out and let us know. We got no feedback and then made plans ourselves to get breakfast the next morning, which meant we arrived at our next destination later than planned. The room itself was very neat.
They should just please look at the curtains and the sofa was also dirty.
Unfortunately, the photos on the website over-sell this place. Not much attention is paid to maintenance. The unit was clean and tidy, but general maintenance would do wonders for the place.

This B&B has deteriorated and now is nothing like it appears in the photos on your website. The whole place (and the room we were in) is generally run-down and tatty, past its best. I will definitely not return there and also will not recommend it to anyone.

I'm looking for finnege service
First of all, the place is very difficult to locate. Second, the service is poor. We never once saw the management of the place, only the "nanny" with a crying baby on her hip. We had to ask for towels, there were none. The bathroom's rubbish bin still had the previous guests' rubbish in it. The cold faucet of the shower didn't work?! Finally, there was no answer to our knock when we wanted to leave at 8 o'clock in the morning. We just threw the keys through the open window and pressed the intercom from outside to ask them to close the gate after we were out. The parking is not nearly adequate either. Definitely not worth the effort or money.
We were highly disappointed with the state of the flat when we arrived. 1. The cold shower tap was not working, so we experienced only piping hot water with no cold. 2. The toilet didn't have a door, but we are aware that some places cater like this. 3. We waited for 2 hours to toast a sandwich as the stoves were not working. 4. The apartment sliding door was not locking, so were never able to leave any valuables behind. We were impressed that upon reporting the issues repair men came to fix the tap and the stove. We were told that the numbers on the dials of the stove were in reverse. It would have taken a few seconds to inform us of this fact upon arrival. Being self-catering accommodation, we were highly disappointed that we could not cook at all prior to this, having spent money on groceries for 5 days, this had to go to waste. I have in my personal capacity experienced backpackers lodging of a higher standard than this. This self catering flat is definitely not a 3 star and were disappointed to discover this. Although it was fairly clean,apart from the the condom wrapper under the bed, we would definitely never return and would sadly not recommend this accommodation to any friends. I would also like to add that although it never affected us, the gardens were very run down and not kept at all. The grass clearly had not been cut in months. This is not 3 star accommodation, it should be re-rated. I would like to add that the owner was very helpful in giving info and the cleaner was also very friendly.
When we booked the breakfast was included and when we got there to eat breakfast the lady that works for Nasarene said that we had booked without breakfast. But it was written that the buffet is for every guest. Also, when we asked to use the pool they said they are still going to clean it. Therefore things were promised that aren't offered to guests. Not even the inside looks like the pictures. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
I had a great experience. The rooms were comfortable, clean and the place is located in a nice and quiet area. I was pleased with it.
It is a very safe and convenient place to be at. Not located far from the beaches. The staff are very friendly, and I would definitely recommend 45 Broadway Lodge to other people.
